If you don’t act on something then you’re correct you don’t have any more time because you made a decision to give it up.
live some years in a place you love compared to living some years in a place you tolerate.
you have a finite number of years to live, the rest is up to you.

everyone should at least travel to all the parts of the country to see where they really fit in.

for me it was the pacific north west. and now florida for part of the winter.

its crazy that people stay in a place they are not happy because of a job or some relative lives there and they have to lose their life to be around them. when they can come visit once in awhile.

when you get older you look back on all the wasted things you did and wish you skipped them for more fun things. that mayube seemed important then but werent in the grand scheme of your life.

Congratulations on the anniversary, redeyes.

Also, Ray writes a lot of smart things.

Cape Perpetua is a grand place and view. Been there many times. I think an old CCC shelter is there if I remember correctly.

Get busy living - not just existing. Ray and Red are spot on.

you are correct about the stone shelter, we were married inside of it.

Most fun I've had watching a World Series game since Mookie Wilson.

I am a reliable dog sitter. Watching Felix this weekend. Felix barks at everything that goes by the house on two legs or four. He also hates Fed Ex and UPS trucks. But I've been walking him a few times a day, down to the beach nearby. He's a good dog who is mostly afraid of people, but he follows me everywhere because I give him treats.

John, you sound like my sort of dog sitter. Mose can now distinguish between UPS, Fed Ex, and Amazon (brown gets all the barks, the other two don't) and we need to limit his walks 'cause he's old, arthritic in the hind end, and has had two knee surgeries over the past several years, but he also loves treats and i'm sure you could become his third best friend with a little attention.

I was sad to leave Felix this morning. I miss having a dog.

+1

Look around, find a dog that needs a home and with whom you get along.
