El D definitely released the hounds on DB and me big-time, and it became like something out of Night of the Living Braindead. It's eerie the hold that guy had on people. They can intoxicate themselves on the mere odor of his sh*. It led to a lot of people behaving very badly for a long, long time, and the way he used it was ultimately very prideful, cynical, irresponsible, and damaging to the community. He was a good guy in some respects and almost always interesting, but something in him spread damage.

Indeed, I pretty much saw him as the ultimate undercover ubertroll once we'd fallen out, and that feeling is by and large the exception around here - but I do think maybe one or more of the highups felt that way too (but I have no proof of that).

However, I'm pretty sure quite a few people think I'm the ultimate 2+2 ubertroll too, so whatever.

I recall quite a little pissing contest between DB and ELD. ELD came into what might have been the first Lounge thread and mocked DB for providing a short answer to a post in a forum designed for longer thoughts. I lost any respect for him for that snark and have pretty much avoided his forum. I might have missed something?
I enjoy the Lounge but my attention span is better served in OOT.

If he came back tomorrow and started posting, oot would be worth watching, agape at the sight of idiots worshipping their king.

I always figured him for an Indian guy.

Shows how famous he is in this little forum world that we're still talking about him even though he doesn't even come into this forum and many in this forum probably spend little time in OOT or his vanity forum. I'd guess he doesn't spend much time talking about any of us anymore.
