I'll trade my 10 degrees for your 50, especially considering what I see coming at us from ND.

Ha, that "50" doesn't take into account the Bay Chill Effect, which ends up making it more like 35. (I'm complaining despite the fact that it has been really nice and sunny lately. But come this summer when the rest of the country is in shorts and t-shirts, I'll still be wearing my jacket.) So yeah, Northern CA weather is quite tricky and deceptive.

HH & Katy, thankfully not the flu. I just finished a second round of antibiotics for a sinus infection that started on Christmas. A whole month shot basically with a foggy head.

Now the grandbaby has a cold that's passing through the ranks. It's so pitiful when they're sick. She lost her voice. Just little squeaks were coming out. At the doctor on Monday they had the waiting area separated into "flu symptoms" and "no flu symptoms." I had the shot, but still used hand sanitizer about 10 times while we were there.

The Mrs. Utah comment was in the OOT Amnesty thread in a list of those not eligible for amnesty:

You know, Hobby, or Sam, or whatever (I never know the protocol in these things), you and I never had one cross word until all that "Blarg =misogyny" crap went down. Before then, we had a lot of fun (some of it at Blarg's expense, actually). Since then, our limited communication has been pretty damn tense.

I don't like what happened with Blarg. You don't like that I can't see what you think is clear. We both feel pretty passionate about it. And got into this little pissing match. And the weird thing is, I think both of us were actually trying to be nice to each other in this thread, at least at first. Then you called me stupid, and I called you petty and vindictive. You misrepresented me, and I made presumptions about you.

Neither one of us is going to change the other's mind. I'm not going to convince nut or dave that Blarg wasn't misogynistic, and you're not going to convince db or Katy that he was. So the hell with it. We disagree.

I'm just going to say what I said initially. I do miss Blarg sometimes, for what he brought to the forum, and I missed you for the same reason. I hope you stay around, and I hope we can talk again about music and politics and whatever we used to talk happily about, and I'm genuinely glad that you are in a good place.
