23 countries, 25 if I get to count Japan and Iceland (I think I mentioned those episodes before).

I was going to travel a lot in retirement. Was in Ireland for St. Patrick's Day 2020, last time I left USA#n.

19. For a Brit it is rather ironic that one of the countries that I haven’t visited is Spain, which is the only overseas country that most Brits have visited.

Also Toronto airport is the least welcoming on earth, I presume that Canadians have a reputation for being friendly because they send all the *******s to work there.

Ray, I agree. I watch football for lack of anything better to do, but I can't imagine staying home to watch football if I have other choices.

I mean, if you have to watch the Patriots, I understand not wanting to do that

Last night's game was pretty bad, and I kinda knew it was over after that first touchdown. But I like watching Allen.

One thing that annoys me is the expression “Live every day as if it’s your last”, I’ve tried lying in a hospital bed with drips in my arms gasping for breath and being surrounded by weeping loved ones, it isn’t that much fun.

live every day as it might be your last

I’ve currently been gambling too much to think like a normal person. Tomorrow I’m going to literally clean my closet and then watch a movie and then say hi to my fam.

I watch football under the same circumstances that I watch the news; I'm at a poker game and it's on.

i havent watched a football game except for one or two superbowls in 40 years.

U like watching squirrels and sheeit

I bet sports but I seldom watch them on TV. The last NFL games I intentionally watched were the Cowboys/Steelers superbowl match-ups from the 80s.

btw, I never tell people irl that I bet sports because they expect me to know something about them, which I don't. I played baseball and basketball through high school, and if I go to a live game I can follow the action fairly well, but I have no idea of who the players are or which team is leading which league. All my betting consists of finding what I consider to be market-driven mistakes in the line, and in avoiding the juice.

I put $20 on Green Bay (as I do each year I make it to Vegas) to win the Super Bowl when I was out there for the Seniors event.

Ofc, it was the weekend they beat Arizona, which was, at the time, a big game in the conference. Even more predictably, I didn't get around to placing the bet until after the game, so I got 9-1 instead of 11-1 or something.

Sigh.

I like to watch college football and pro football. I’ve pretty much stopped watching most basketball, especially the pros. The reasons should be obvious. Major league baseball is usually worth your time, especially the post season.

Most fun is going to a triple-A ballgame, stuffing myself with hotdogs and beer, and standing up and singing that great song during the seventh inning stretch. A truly religious experience.

Take me out to the ballgame........
