It has been discussed here before but not for a while, so.. I recently ordered some 2014 catalogues to have a browse through and I recommend anyone that hasn't to go ahead and do so too. Most have a link online to request one or you can send them an email and ask nicely.

The higher end brands are really nice bound books, and in terms of what they offer and what I've received so far it ranks:

A. Lange > JLC + Roger Dubuis > Vacheron > Panerai + Longines + Nomos

I'm still waiting on a few (Omega, Glashutte Original, Girard Perreguax, Piaget, and maybe Franck Muller, Breguet, IWC, Patek - some of the Tornaeu brands wouldn't ship outside the US). If anyone wants some example pics I can post them.

I'm sorry to be that guy, but Jesus. You don't even have to search, just skim over the past few pages in the thread.

Long Island Watch and your range is too wide.

Not sure there's any all-gold watches in the last few pages of this thread.

Depends what he means by 'all gold' too.

Cuz there ain't any in that range. Unless he's just talking color, then the answer is "whatever you like on Amazon dude"

On the topic of gold watches, is it weird to anyone else that NOBODY makes 14k gold watches? In jewelry most of it is 14k, and I'd think the extra hardness would be even more desirable in a watch.

It's perception. There is no cache in 14k vs 18-24k. Watch industry is built on cache. "Might as well go with 10k because its even harder!" (said no one in marketing ever)

iwc.com - at the top it says Contact and there's then a pop up box where you can email their 'concierge' and select Catalogue Order as the subject area.

I'll try to remember to take some pics of what I've got later today

My favorite beater, the Orient Blue Mako, is on sale on Amazon for $119. That's the best price I've seen it reach for a new one. It's a comfortable, sturdy watch on the stock bracelet.

Wow, eBay is frustrating. Scammers keep buying it and I don't have the eBay limits to be able to list it more than 2x.

If anyone on here is interested, shoot me a msg. IWC Portofino Chronograph (pics on previous page)

Also, if anyone has suggestions for other forums to try that would be cool (although I feel like coming in as a newbie and trying to do a big transaction could be difficult).

Go sell it on WUS and use your eBay feedback as a ref. Offer free insured post/pay their PayPal fees/let them phone you up/whatever to satisfy the buyer.

I think you'll find people here aren't really into trendy watches from fashion brands.
