1. Slightly; you don't get the same warranty that way. Won't affect price a ton, but many want used watches to come with 'papers'.
2. The places to do it are the sales forums on WatchUSeek.com and TimeZone.com. I would, in your shoes, make very clear that you can prove a trustworthy rep on another forum.
3. There's nothing that's exceptionally common if you're selling (if you're buying, fakes can exist although even that's infrequent). The same stuff you'd find when buying/selling anywhere else still exists of course; people can retract PayPal transfers etc. Best advice is to only sell to people with positive feedback in buying/selling. There will actually be lots of them; many people are constantly flipping pieces.
