I think that looks really nice. Really love the lack of any SS edges on the hour indices and hands. Makes it look a lot less old mannish than a lot of other Rolexes.

I could never figure out why Rolex decided to make the bezel of the Explorer II fixed. The only reason would seem to further distinguish it from the GMT Master.

I know it's not most people here's cup of tea, but I love this watch atm:

A couple of the reviews on amazon suggest some qc issues, but then it is only £50 ($80).

Also, that seiko amoeba.

Please, someone explain it to me?
In addition to the above answers, also the phenomenon discovered by Rolex that the manufacturer can keep raising the price and people keep buying the watches.

Wouldn't work for Seiko 5s obv. but Rollie sure found a golden goose with this business model.

/Rolex bashing

Yeah plenty's been written about Omega doing the same thing trying to position themselves up there next to the Crown.

Makes me wonder if I want something with an 8500 coaxial because it's a marvel of engineering, or I swallowed the blue pill

I mean, like I said earlier, the Aqua Terras with the 8500 are pretty decently priced but I have a feeling the POs are going to be significantly more expensive.

It's in your price range, maybe actually a bit cheaper.

Only problem with this is it's a manual wind.
Loving this watch! How much is it?

I never wear watches but need one for work etc

It's discontinued.

There's an "incursore II" now available with basically the same dial except the seconds are at 6 instead of 9.

Anyway, dunno what the retail on the Incursore II is, but here's one on ebay for $700:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Glycine-...#ht_500wt_1413

Dunno about that seller. William Johnson Company (AKA Falcon Watch Co.) is the US authorized dealer/distributor for Glycine, and they have a top-notch reputation.

There is also an arabic 3/6/9/12 dial and you can get both dials in either manual or auto.

Did this guy ever come back and clarify if he was cool with ana/digis? I forgot about a good one on the cheaper side, Tissot T-Touch.
