Hublot really needs to come up with a new schtick. Also, they need to figure out how to get their screws to line up. I've seen Casios that get this right.

I like Hublots.
Well not that hidious black and rose gold and red and yellow thing on the previous page.

Similar to the AP ROOs but I like the round bezel much more than the octagonal.

And the screws not lining up doesn't bother me and at least you know they're really screws.

The ROO screws line up and are hex shaped sitting down in a hex socket. How does that work?

But why put slots on the heads making them look like they were screwed in from the front?

i recently had dinner w a guy who was worth 400mm+ and he was wearing a stainless rolex sub. i was really glad i wasnt wearing a watch at all.

So it gets people to talk about "how did they do that", just like we are I suppose. Also, you need to hold them down from the front side even though you are screwing them in by the back, to avoid ruining the sharp edges.

The thing that stands out for me with Hublot's is a very comfortable rubber strap. I think their clasp has some sort of patent and they seemed to start the rubber strap trend in luxury watches. At least at the North American retail level.

Ordered a few NATO straps from The Watch Prince (who knew it was only 3 minutes away from my house in Oregon lol). I'll post pics of them on my watch in a couple of days.

Any photoshop wizards out there that can make the new superocean have a white dial with black numbers? I really dig the new style but think it'd look even sicker with a white dial on a black strap...

edit: its probably as simple as magnetic lassoing the dial and applying a negative filter to it in photoshop but i dont have photoshop...

Got this earlier in the year when I got a big score. I like it a lot and I haven't seen it anywhere, even in other watch shops or the internet. Bought it in Monte Carlo, maybe they only sell it there?

Assumed it'd be around but just actually did a quick search for MC Chronos it and can't seem to find any other than the gold one used, interesting.

A.) Eh don't think a guys gonna judge you for wearing a much higher % of your net worth on your wrist than him within reason.

yea +1 on the JLC love. awesome watch. when i initially got into watches and went to buy my first one (omega) i was at the store for a good couple hours, completely falling in love with the master grande ultra thin. it was one of the only ones there but i just loved the simplicity and beauty of it. my tastes have changed a bit but i still love the ultra thin pink gold w/ black face and leather.

i definitely notice watches that girls wear but don't make any judgments about it considering most girls get watches as gifts.
