4h8Red, another option that is right at $500 is either the Halios Bluering which has been mentioned earlier or the Prometheus Ocean Diver.

Both solid dive watch at that price point.

Also wondering about this. Think i want to change the brown strap off my Longines because my belts and shoes are all black, and i can't wear brown shoes with most of my suits. Changing the strap seems like the cheaper option.

Also, if i change to black, is it going to look poor on this, considering that the hands are a bright, almost electric blue?

I was thinking this, same sized longines one

I think it'll look fine because the numbers are black.

I have this watch, and a black croc strap. I can throw it on and snap some pics real quick later today.

BTW, rocking the bling today.

Yeah, if you could that would be great. Really interested to see how it looks. Where did you get the strap btw?

lol. She hates most of my watches. But usually all she does is pass judgement when she sees a new one for the first time and then after that I never hear about it again, unless I do something particularly "objectionable," like wear a g-shock with a suit.

i had that steinhart version. i'm trying to track down the 44mm titanium with the gold hands. i think that'll seriously pop with a vintage leather strap. this or a speedmaster moon watch.

it's an LE...fancy word so they can jack up the price

$600-$650 used. looks great although i'm not sure it's worth ~2x more than the regular version. imo the TI gives it a more rustic throwback look than the SS.

funny jesster about 2 years ago this time i pm'd u asking about the navi because u'd just gotten it and i was beginning to dip my toe in. now i'm like neck deep.

LOL. I got my Debaufre on a scratch & dent sale off WUS, I think I paid $390 with shipping, no scrathes or dents to be seen though.

I am on strict watch probation with the wife. Even the Seiko SARB065 that I so crave at only $525 or so (even less on WUS) is off limits until we get a few things around the house fixed up.

TAG Heuer S/el. Got this back in 1996-ish. This watch has taken quite a beating, but I still love it, and to me, is the quintessential modern TAG Heuer. Yeah, it's a quartz.

I modded a Maratac Elite composite strap to fit my Frogman. The frog has weird 18mm lugs, this is a 24mm strap, and the lugs are deep so I had to cut quite a bit but the result is very nice:
