Haven't worn it a ton yet, doesn't go with the dressier look to work daily but eager to get it back on my wrist! Wore it this past weekend and absolutely loved it. I can see some people maybe not digging the textured look to the face, aside from it being yellow, but I really like it as part of a collection.

I got a Steinhart Triton 100 ATM Black delivered today... excited to get home and give it a test run

Anybody know what watch Antonio Esfandiari wore on High Stakes Poker? Looks a little too big on him I think.
I got an Oakley Minute Machine precisely because it's huge, wasn't too expensive, and normal watches look small on my wrist. Seems to be pretty durable and gets a lot of attention since it stands out.

I never heard of anyone else buying an Oakley watch. Kinda sad - they actually lined up solid manufacturers for them.

Pretty sure I've seen this in person and the the picture REALLY doesn't do it justice. Really cool "industrial" style finish.

Made from the steel they build outer hulls of submarines with, also magnetic. Thing's a beast, love the blockey hands/ticks too.

Yeah I've seen even better pictures out there.. I didn't do it much justice. Love it, on the radar!

I saw it. Still out of my price range. I'm cheap.

I find it funny the seller posts he is selling it because the sailcloth doesn't fit his wrist. I have mine on a rubber strap (not the one it came with) and think it is awesome. Sailcloth is cool, but somewhat gimmicky in my opinion.

I don't know what's happened to me but the watch obsession is at all time highs.

Just acquired this beauty. Prometheus Recon 5. For those of you who haven't heard of this company, it's a pretty cool story. I really love what they stand for, and Carlos (owner) is a superb human being.

Not a bad pilot for < $500 ($357 to be exact)

Watch specs:

Case diameter: 44 mm
Case height: 10.5 mm
Super Luminous dial and hands
Sapphire Crystal on dial and case back
Swiss Made Unitas 6492 mvmt w/Côtes de Genève finish

Not the best pics, but here are a couple shots;

It's a behemoth of a watch with a very thick rubber strap.

I'm thinking of buying these 2 watches:

http://www.jacksontse.com/hw005.html

http://www.jacksontse.com/hw033.html

Would love to find the first one in a non textured bezel but it seems they don't make them. Anyone have any opinion on theses or reasons that I shouldn't buy them?

I agree with you and don't like the textured bezel in the first. If I was choosing between the two I would opt for the latter.

I don't know anything about this company/watches.

I have the second one. It is of pretty good quality when you take into consideration how little he is asking for it. I like it, have had it for about 4-5 months now and have had zero problems with it.

My Panerai homage is from Jax'n. I had crown/movement issues on the first go around but he took care of everything and my returned movement is working flawlessly and keep great time.

Unless you want to shell out $4-6K for a real Portie I'd say spend the $100 and buy this and then make that decision.

Thanks guys, was a bit sketchy about getting them but feel better now.
