Had my students writing a paper on their fashion system, so I dressed a little different so they could analyze mine.

One student described my sports cost, a sort of paisley sequined velvet number as " erotic."

Classmates were a bit stunned. One said, "I think you mean 'exotic.'"

Perfect day here today but Fall has been in the air. Had to turn on the heat for the first time this week and even wore long pants one day for the first time since probably April. Gonna have Chinese food tonight for the first time in ages. Been mostly BBQing most Fridays all summer but looking forward to some tasty Chinese food and maybe a bunch of beer to wash it all down.

Looks like I'm going to make it to October w/o starting the furnace. Not much longer, as rain and cool weather predicted. Guess I'll have to take in the houseplants before long too.

apparently dissipated quite a bit from there to here
likely broken up by the coastal range
(assuming the oregon coast occurs in the fall of your annual migration chart)
only got a third of a king's thumb 'round these parts

strange how a knuckle became something to measure
tick out twelve on a stick, put it in your shoe,
dozen't matter if you step foot in another yard three times
just means you need one more to even the score until the next time you try

I know I will never again count as human due to my seemingly terrible discourse involving, (or not involving)birds.
But my sisters place was in florida. She was not in the center of things but there was still huge rains and wind and her place lost power.

Some people, me included, have a strong attraction to the ocean. It's probably hard to understand unless you are one of those people. We accept that hurricanes are a price for being able to be close to the water.

Im trying to figure out how to get local channels to show up through firestick. I know i need an antenna and some other device. I see something called hdhomerun. Had anyone ever used this?

Been spending time at the art bar lately. Started last Christmas when I superimposed an image of my new nephew on a circular baby mat making an excited face onto a 1sq foot canvas. To make it look like hes boogie boarding on a large wave. Was a gift to my sister, his mother.

Went back for a few glasses of wine and some doodles since. Then last month I bought another canvas and put in some real time on an original piece. May or may not be able to share, as its a very personal gift for someone. Either way I'm happy to be tapping the creative side. I know its really good for me.

in areas where you can get the reception. meaning around towns and cities. all the local channels are in digital and come in nicely with an outside antenna. some times even on a small inside one. no special antenna is needed if you watch the commercials. just find where they come from and point it that way.

in many places you can get 20 or so different channels.
