I thought the ABA now requires you to attend 80% of your classes? Or is that only for 1Ls??

Who else is going, or wants to go, into a position where you will not be practicing law?

We have to sign in. Only one Prof checks us off himself.

On my firm's internal biographies it lists language proficiencies. Someone has listed: Latin (Intermediate). I'll be sure to go to him for all my moderately difficult translations of Latin contracts, but not the real advanced stuff.

So you did go to bed?

I was up at 7:00 to tell the undergrad blooters to stop yelling on the sidewalk.

hey guys, not sure if this is the right place to post but whatever.

I'm studying for lsats right now and I wanted to know what you guys did to score high (like 168+).

Also what's law school like? Is it fun, stressful, etc. Sorry if these are really beginner questions but since I'm studying right now it's hard for me to read through this whole thread.

And any advice to someone applying for law school? Things like you wish you did or wish you didn't do?

Law school is only fun if you don't give a **** about law school. If you aren't going to give a **** about law school, then don't go to law school.

Even though the thread has gotten very long and there is a lot of clutter, it is still worth your while to read through it from front to back over a few sittings. You will see that everyone has a different experience w/r/t LSATs, the first year, classmates, the job hunt, the bar exam, practicing law, etc. People go to law school for different reasons, with different expectations, and bring their own personalities and experiences to the process. Reading through the whole thread will expose you to a variety of perspectives from people at schools all across the spectrum.

Think more about being a lawyer than being in law school.

For me it's a nightmare but there are lulls where there's only neutral apprehension.

so it was cool in the beginning of the semester not having to do bluebook exercises when the rest of my school was, but it would have been alright to go over citation at least once. Instead we get "I expect you to learn citation before you submit your final." Thanks Legal Writing mmmmmm

If you were in a class action suit you could shut yourself out from an entire city.
