There's really only one reason other than inertia that all law schools don't have midterms. Basically, if students get feedback early in a semester, then they will have an expectation of the professors' grading tendencies; but this hampers grader creativity in that they have to decide too early whether to use stairs or a dartboard.

Yo! You go there too man?

Naw I have Epps for Con Law. I saw Meyerson speak at the presidential inauguration viewing in the Moot Court Room though, he seems cool.

I have Civ Pro with Rees tomorrow, he is hilarious and always either brings a prop or dresses up in something relating to the case for class.

They are building a new law center which opens the year after I graduate, which is cool/sucks for me.

Rees is probably the weirdest human being I've ever met in my life. I wasn't a huge fan, but a lot of people liked him. He did teach the class in a very logical manner and I learned a lot in it, though. I graduated in 2007.

my tl;dr test day experience, so that others might learn and avoid my mistakes: so the experimental section is always one of the first 3 sections (out of 5). you'll never know which one is the experimental section as you are taking the section itself, but often, depending on how your particular test form is arranged, you'll be able to tell by the end of the test which was the extra section.

#1 was logic games, went ok. #2, reading comp went uncharacteristically awesome, in fact so awesome that i was fairly sure i got every single question right. reading comp is by far my weakest section, and i was totally pumped bc i knew i'd owned that section and it was gonna help my score a ton etc. #3 was logical reasoning, standard. over the break between #3 and #4 i started thinking maybe the section i aced was the extra section, and started thinking to myself no ****ing way, 1time, 1time let me ****ing not run bad and have that have been the extra section.

i'm hoping so bad for #4 to be logic games or logical reasoning, as we're about to flip to #4 i pour every ounce i can into praying to see one of those two ... and then i ****ing see a long passage with questions following. i immediately go on gorilla tilt and am close to standing up and throwing the test book across the room. i can't even ****ing begin to think straight bc i am so tilted at getting so owned. can't concentrate, can't read the passage. end up taking forever and putting in a bunch of rushed responses on #4 down the stretch. gg.

i considered canceling after the test but ended up deciding just to sack up and take whatever i got.

i think i'm supposed to get my score back today so we'll see exactly how owned i got.

LESSON: don't be like me. don't tilt on test day.

Oh, that's cool man, good to hear you are done. Yeah I agree with you Rees is quite unique. He is pretty friendly though and makes class entertaining. I bet you remember the phrases "Alright class, let's look at some old MCQ's," and "have we had this yet in BizOrg's, class?"

I saw your post today in the middle of class and the first sentence had me trying to control my laughter (I sit in the front). Good luck with you career and everything...I heard Jag has nice benefits if you are doing that.

lol. I have a friend that owns a few businesses that has been screwed in some prior litigation, so I told him that I'd help him out. I've filed suits aginst 5 lawyers, a major rent-a-car company, 1 judge, and two accountants all in a week. This will be pretty fun. He's got around 1 million in claims total, so we'll see how it goes. I love suing a judge, especially when he sees that the attorney is some 28-year old kid.

Hell yeah, 176 on the Feb LSAT. Wasn't gonna look at US schools (from Canada), but obviously this opens some doors for me. GPA isn't too hot around 3.5, but I'm in third year right now so I can conceivably bring that up a point or so by time I apply for the 2010 cycle.

You're right, people who brag on internet message boards about their LSAT score are super-likely to be awesome dudes.

The guy definitely knows it's a top 1% score yet makes a conscious effort to notify complete strangers that it was below his expectation. That's douche material.

You're a douche if you obtain an objectively excellent score then "complain" about it in an effort to make strangers aware of your intelligence.
