Paul Hornung, age 84, Green Bay Packer legend, died on Friday, November 13, 2020, at Louisville, Kentucky.

I frequently saw him at the Spring and Fall Keenland meets.

Normally, this thread is to call attention to those who deserve attention rather than the merely notorious, but I suppose this is newsworthy for those in Britain. However, maybe it's best to end this with "Good" and to remember his victims and their families.

Sure they have. He played the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and was one of the nicest people in show business.

I did not know that. His smartest career move was playing along with Morecombe and Wise relentlessly mocking his singing, the “Morecombe and Wise Show” was the biggest thing on British TV in the 70’s

My very first job in film/TV production was on one of those Miller Lite "Tastes Great/Less Filling commercials in Manhattan...around 1986...it had some huge guys (football players or wrestlers, I don't remember) holding up a bartender between them, who was actor Nathan Lane. I was outside directing traffic, mostly.

I remember being amazed that they spent a whole day on shooting the "pour" of the beer at the end of the commercial.

That was wrestler and future governor Jesse "The Body" Ventura holding up bartender Nathan Lane.

Jake Scott, former Miami Dolphins All-Pro Safety and Super Bowl MVP, dead at 75. He had been hospitalized since last week after suffering a head injury after a fall while visiting friends in Atlanta. Scott is the 16th member of the undefeated 1972 team to pass on.
