Wait. Christopher Lloyd was in 98 movies? I'm gonna have to investigate this.

I find it hard to believe that Dan Aykroyd was in 80.

why? How long do you think a part takes to film, especially when you're not the star?

I don't think it's a matter of time, it's more a matter of how many I could name.

Orson Bean was awesome. Mainly I remember him as a panelist on To Tell the Truth. I also liked Robert Conrad who also just died.

I see he was in a lot of things but I only remember his 1 time appearance on King of Queens and Two and a Half Men.

Sad about Kobe. I had the same feelings about Payne Stuart when he died in a tragic accident. The tragedy of it all make seem so much worse.

Terry Jones, 77 has died, meaning that he’s about to find out if the Messiah really is a very naughty boy.

Jones, whose comedy somehow managed to combine nudity and stupid voices with an air of amiable upper-class befuddlement, managed to make screeching ‘Spam’ into a global catchphrase and technical term.

As well as comedy, Jones managed to become a documentary-maker, children’s writer, historian, poet, and director and writer of film, theatre and opera and at one point was responsible for 75% of all the films banned in ireland.

However, his primary contributions to the national consciousness were dressing up as a middle-aged woman and setting about his colleagues with a handbag, trying to ascertain the relative weights of witches and ducks, and exploding after just one too many mints – all the while whilst maintaining an air of being completely unaware of just how funny he was.

Anyone who aspires to write comedy could do worse than watching his deranged enthusiasm for attacking singing mice with a mallet, or his wide-eyed lunacy bursting through the door as a member of the Spanish Inquisition in a flying helmet.

But for Terry, just like his best character in Monty Python & the Holy Grail, it’s curtains. We hope he’s gone somewhere he can…just…sing!

If you're going to copy and paste other people's writing then at least have the decency to credit them. Better still just link the article.

Tony Fernandez, aka "Flipper", baseball SS for Toronto and others, died Sunday at 57.
Great fielder, clutch hitter, well-respected as both a player and human being. RIP.

Weird thing, I saw this in the Wikipedia obit section and thought hey that guy has the same name as Tony Fernandez. I guess I was thinking he was way too young etc. I was never close to being a Blue Jays' fan but I remember him well, a very good player and a class act by all indication. Oddly I always thought he looked a little taller than a great shortstop should be lol.

His slenderness probably made him look taller, as he was still a couple inches shorter than Ripken. He may have been better known if he hadn't played at the same time as so many excellent shortstops (Ripken, Yount, Ozzie, Larkin, Trammell, etc.).

Cal Ripken is 6'-4"...one of the tallest shortstops ever in the modern game.

David Roback, co-founder of the brilliant band Mazzy Star has died, aged 61. No cause of death has been announced yet.

Damn shame...Mazzy Star made some wonderful music, and I was a little obsessed with them back in the 90s. I titled a screenplay after one of their songs, "Into Dust."

If you haven't heard it, listen to his earlier band Opal, with vocalist Kendra Smith. I liked Mazzy Star a lot, but Opal was even better.
