Mark Hollis, 64

Lead signer and leader of influential rock group Talk Talk

Dammit...that band was always on my bucket list to see and never got a chance to. Some great music through the years.

That actually hurts. The last two Talk Talk albums are brilliant - and not what you'd expect if you only listened to the links above. (not that I mind their earlier stuff)

RIP

One of my favorite obits for a local man read, in part: "He is survived by numerous ex-wives and a myriad of girlfriends."

RIP She was brilliant in Soap. I still laugh just thinking about that show even though I haven't seen it in years.

Helmond was great as Deborah's mother on Everybody Loves Raymond. She could take nothing roles and make them very special, rare quality she had.

Came here to post about this one. Truly shocking to learn about that one.

Let's all please take a moment to appreciate the genius of this piece of music:

One of the few pieces from the 90s that truly held up over the years, and a mainstay on my playlist.

My Music for the Jilted Generation & The Fat of the Land CDs certainly got a lot of play back in the day. I still throw those on or some of their newer stuff from time to time. I'm still on Prodigy's fan email list (they send out stuff about shows, merchandise, etc. from time to time). So yeah I've definitely been a bit sad these last few days with the tragic news.

Prodigy didn't tour the USA much, but I did catch them one time - at House of Blues at Mandalay Bay back in 2002. A great venue to see them in and it was a great show.

RIP Keith Flint
