Paul Chambers bowing that bass

Ron Carter performing pure witchcraft
his fingers are something out of a Tim Burton movie
the way Herbie and Ron work together is mindblowing
(with Tony filling everything in the back end)

bonus Miles starts losing his mind but Carter is there to bring it all back together. such a boss.
and Herbie at the end pounding the keys....

newly discovered Coltrane 'Original 11383'
recorded in '63 with the classic quartet of Tyner, Garrison, and Jones
this was recorded the same week as John Coltrane and Johnny Hartman and with the same band that brought us Live at Birdland, Crescent, and A Love Supreme
