I moved into my new place about 1 month ago. My last place had a microwave oven in the kitchen, and this new place does not. I never thought that I would need a microwave, but here I am, wishing I had one. I'm not happy to see the prices of microwaves, and the cheapest I can find is this one:

Everything in my new place is black & white, including the carpet. My furniture is also white, which is kind of annoying. Thinking I'll get some blankets to throw over them.

I never had carpeting, so now I'm curious what kind of vacuum to get. They all suck the same, right?

I walked along this thing while I was in Dorset. It's wide, but sloping and uneven, and if you fall off it you're ****ing dead. People were walking along it past each other without a care in the world; young, old, I couldn't believe it.

We were out for a boat ride and noticed a few people walking on a narrow path on the top of the cliffs. Since we both had a fear of heights I said “I would not want to be up there “. Naturally an hour later we ended up on the path in a state of terror

Going with plan B tonight. Plan A was the 3 B's Beef, Beer and Baseball. Got some beautiful prime ribeyes and was gonna fire up the BBQ but thunderstorms have put the grilling off until tomorrow. Plus the rain puts the baseball in jeopardy? So I am going with frozen burritos, gin and netflix if the game gets cancelled.
