Ray started drinking early I guess. I have no problem with that- getting started early for the weekend is the hallmark of a life well lived. And since today is Friday; well you know the rest......

I don’t doubt it but I was having trouble deciphering the code.

And I’m already seeing double posts! Good start to my weekend.

Also I purchased a hunter’s liquor cabinet. Beautiful handmade by a local guy. I’ll post pics when it’s all set up in my house. Cheers.

good for you having to hunt for your liquor will help somewhat.

Walked a few miles in Newport this morning, past the summer homes of the wealthy. Nice places to stroll around here.

Real ones? Or the museum type places like the Breakers? I remember taking those mansion tours back in the day and was very impressed at the time.

No booze tonight for me Had a tooth pulled this week (it sucked!) and dentist said no drinking for 10 days. Seems excessive but at least it will be more than 10 days next Friday!

Both. Bellevue Ave in Newport has the mansions and the homes of "ordinary" people. The street I live on is dotted with homes going for upwards of five million. Nice area to rent an apartment.

I'm not yet retired. I just don't need to work much these days.

I’m helping myself to a Fort George IPA while lounging in the Oregon sun, outside on a bar patio. And I just ordered a pimp daddy patty, complete with tater tots. Life is good and I’m living the dream.

but you didn't do enough high-level thinking.
05-07-2021 , 08:03 PM
I’ll do that after my high-level drinking!

whisk(e)y has been the antiseptic of choice for centuries. don't let modern medicine fool you

whiskey good after tooth pull. zeno gets them pulled all the time so he can have a reason to drink.
05-07-2021 , 09:15 PM
so we have zeno which our beloved moderator says is beyond help, and a guy who named himself after the worst beer ever made giving him a loving heart.

just where can we go from here. bud.

Not true, I drank a microbrew the other day, a brown ale. It was the absolute worst tasting beer I ever had. I'd rather drink Mickey's.

That is the way I feel about almost every microbrew, craft beer, IPA etc that I have ever had. 99 out of 100 taste like pure rat piss. But every once in a while you stumble on a winner. For me it isn't worth the trouble.

i dont find very many microbrews any good. makes sense as then they would get bought up by the big companies.

good lord you numb tongues.
quit licking urinals cakes and find something actually worth drinking. There’s plenty of it out there.
