Sadly the healthiest thing that has happened to me this year was accidentally having my cannula pulled out while I was having an enema, the nurses saying “This is going to take a bit of cleaning up “was the most embarrassing moment of my life. Still not as embarrassing as rickrolls take on roxy music though

Bought a 2020 Chevy Bolt last night. There are lots of chargers in my city, and a free one not far from me. It drives really smoothly, perfect for city driving. Deceptively spacious, too.

Continually sober is the wrong approach.
03-30-2021 , 09:28 PM
I think you mean continuously.

Thanks Lastcard, I was drunk and slobbered my words.

The sun shines continually and rises continuously.

oregon the sun doesnt shine much in the winter. and i doubt zeno rises to see it.

Beautiful day today however; no wind, Clear Blue Sky, and a warm, for here, 66 degrees! That's amazing for the last day of March.

I already went on a bike ride and will go for a walk on the Beach soon; and then head home to lounge about, sip whiskey, and read some more Nietzsche!

Life could not be better.

Umm, as a Wodehouse fan you should understand that you should not read Nietzsche, he is fundamentally unsound

Thanks but no thanks. I have to find new ways to disappoint my friends and family now.

the sun shines all winter long in oregon, the real problem is the crowds of pesky tourist clouds that come up from northern california and make their way between zeno and the sun, blocking out the rayz. this compels zeno to yell at the clouds for ruining all the nice places he goes to visit all the time.

Thankfully, I'm moving from my apartment in the next few weeks, but one of the major annoyances (shy of seeing my 'hood turning into a **** hole), is one neighbor who can't keep their music down.

I wrote the front office about it, and they told me to talk to security. I made 3 complaints, 2 today, and I was told that there wasn't much they could do since it wasn't at an unreasonable hour. They've actually blasted their music at 3am, but it's been between 12 and 2pm every day. After 2 complaints (and getting the music to stop), they are at it again.

I'm curious what I should do here. I'm thinking of plugging all my equipment in, maxing the volume, and playing I Lead You Towards Glorious Times by Merzbow. I have a few hundred watts of amplification at my disposal.

(*) to be clear, I'm not the only one complaining. Not even close.

There is a rooftop dog park in my building. Unfortunately, many dogs don't make to the rooftop. Dog **** doesn't phase anyone.

I'm pretty sure that Zeno only reads Nietzsche to laugh at the funny parts.

Blessed are the drowsy because they soon drop off.

I have recommended Derry girls a few times, the scene where Sister Micheal is on the bus reading “The Exorcist “ and giggling is one of my favourites .

Since I am coming up to the big six o I will be posting some music. As a spoiler it will contain the Beatles, Kate Bush , Elvis Costello and the kinks. In deference to rickroll no roxy music will be included, inclusiveness involves the stupid as well as the smart

Beer and cooking. It's the end of Lent, right?

04-02-2021 , 07:14 PM
since i rarely loan money its always the end of lent for me.
04-02-2021 , 07:27 PM
i'm a spring baby, and my 40th birthday just so happened to fall on easter
i'm also of cajun blood, so i understand the importance of mardi gras and it's relation to lent
so for the 40 days leading up to my easter 40th birthday we celebrated anti-lent...a minimum of one whiskey shot each day until jesus poked his head between the two tablets and declared spring is here because he didn't see his shadow.

I never liked marzipan, it tastes synthetic. But that's the factory stuff. Make it yourself, or don't eat it at all, goddamnit.

It's cold here. I told Alexa to play Ella Fitzgerald, and I realize I know every song and most of the words, even "Stars Fell on Alabama."
