just got a earth quake at my house .some shaking from one about 50 miles away that was a 5.8. no worries.
but am prepared with a bob just in case of any disaster where you have to flee. can happen anywhere and bad to be without such as shoes, clothing, essentials to live for a short time till you can organize.
generator is good for those few days or week long power outages on the coast from the winter storms. mostly used to keep your frig and freezer cold. must keep it drained of gas as it goes bad even with stabil after a time. its no good if the carb is ruined when you need it.
if the cascadia one comes then you arent going anywhere for a few months and no house left. its real survivalist then. some time in the next 30 to 50 yearns is the predicted time frame for 30% chance.
Oddly, every quake I've experienced happened while I was either taking a nap or sitting. I never been tossed to the ground, though I've seen others fall on their face.
I always sigh when people say stand under a doorway during an earthquake. These advisers don't realize you can't do much walking, standing, or crawling when the ground is bounding under your feet.
that was old advice now they say get under a table so falling things dont hit you.
that may be good for those in a city where buildings above will drop things and kill you. but outside of cities the safest place is outside away from overhead power lines.
I really don't see how you could improve on "NEBULOUS LEADERSHIP".
AMORPHOUS LEADERSHIP. For the vocabulary deficient this would, I think, carry a more nefarious tone, and seem to cast a sort of sexual deviate connotation. Thus, the double whammy.
I could easily write a scintillating rant about idiots with signs. But that would only fuel their own war on rationality and critical thinking skills and it would only make them more angry that all the worlds problems can't be solved with four words or less. So, I'd rather listen to Leon Redbone and poke fun at certain Loungers.
montana supposed to cold in the winter and it is and cool in the summer. sh--t, its been in the high 90's every day almost and supposed to continue in forever.
at least we wont be under water as the ice fields all melt.

Not here in Montana. Summer is usually hot but this summer has been beastly this year. Have seen 100's every day since returning from California and although we will get a break the next couple of days and only supposed to be in the high 80s the heat will return after that. Might have to look at getting that summer cottage up in Barrow AK!
coast of oregon stays about 68 deg. all summer with only a few days here and there higher. plenty of bottom fish and salmon around and a guy you know has a boat over there.
Unfortunately, I did not fulfill your request as asked. I don't have Photoshop, so I had to use Gimp instead. Due the the horrendous UI and functionality, I made a small mistake on the photo.

But glad you like it!
The four asterisks could be for "**** John Cole" or "Love John Cole," but since you used hearts for the Os in my name, ****ing and Loving can be one in the same.

Don't be surprised if I take you up on that. What's a good time to be over there? I have a buddy I used to work with who takes a camper and his boat over to Coos Bay a couple of times a year. They like to go after crabs and fish as well. Sounds like a fantastic place.
crabs are good except when molting which is about now. they arent very full. best months for them is months with an R in them but not when the rivers are running high or when there is a big tide change like over 7 foot. then they dont come into the bays as the salt content isnt as high as they like.
any time there is somethiing running/ but around august through oct. you have the fall /summer chinook and coho runs. salmon is hard this year as the runs are lower.
whether i am there or not i have a place for you to park a camper on the north coast
for as long as you want.
Thanks Ray, I appreciate that. I actually do not have a camper any more. But, I am hoping to get my truck set up so I can camp out of the back of that. So, who knows!!
If I have anything else on that I will PM you for sure!
This Mcconnor -vs- Mayweather stuff is getting promoted pretty hard. I watched some of their press stuff from Toronto. Not sure if it's entertaining or strangely immature.
