This song reminds me of riding around with my dad in his 64 Chevy pickup as a kid. He'd only play country music, which I hated back then. He still owns it but it doesn't run now.

Zeno,

Do not bypass the filter. It's "****hole." And if someone thinks you mean "****hole" instead, you'll just have to live with that.

Also a disclaimer. That was a Joke in reference to Diebitter. Jokes are allowed, right?

Also, I burned a large pile of limb and wood trash and brush today; thus added to global warming.
I was once introduced as a wimpy escort.

Jokes are still allowed, especially if they are about DB.

John,

Ok, I got it. Duly noted for future postings. Also, filters are good, they help clean the oil in all my internal combustion engines.

So Kevin Spacey is getting cut out of his last film and replaced by Christopher Plummer? Who knew Christopher Plummer was still alive! how old is that guy? It feels like every day there is some new allegation against a hollywood star, director, or corporate exec. I wonder which famous actor will be next in this domino effect? The film and music industry full of entitled creeps and a lot of people who cover up for them. Parents are crazy to let their kids work in the industry.

I don't know if you saw, but the answer is Charlie Sheen, accused of butt raping a 13 year old boy.

oh my god that guy is like an awful human being. It pisses me off. I used to love his movies. He was a pretty funny guy. Can't there be one normal funny actor out there who isn't a creep? Are they all horribly behaved?

Power is a helluva drug.

I categorically admit to making my actors perform sex acts while on set.

He's old, yet great. Still alive, I know

This Hollywood thing will become non newsworthy shortly. And dominoes is just a game.

When I peruse these forums it's certainly fun to see the many posters that think the world of you. Much respect. One day I hope to tell you more about my irl friend Merek007. The man in the pic!

Christopher Plummer will always be Captain von Trapp to me.

It's weird how Kevin Spacey was always selling that creepy vibe with a wink, both onscreen and in his public persona. The cad, the bounder, etc. Slightly unsavory. Turns out he was very unsavory indeed!

When people would ask Ronald Reagan what Jimmy Stewart was like, he'd tell them that if they liked him in his movies, they'd like him in real life. That's how he was.

btw in praising former Lounge mods, the great and notorious John Cole surely deserves a mention. And Merek as well, RIP.
11-09-2017 , 01:07 PM
RR and kioshk - Thank you so much for the kind words. Made my day.

Merek so much.
R*R, I didn't know that you and he were friends in real life! Such an awesome person. taught me a lot about how to be grateful for life, how to conduct oneself on a forum and be an adult . So honored to have him frequent the Lounge when he was here. There's a song I used to listen to reminds me of him. When I hear the song I think about how short our time is, I need to get moving! I need to stop being so whiny and try to appreciate the fact that I have opportunities. Merek would have laughed at me and been gentle in his reprimands.

I just read that one of my favorite actors, Terry Crews, just filed a lawsuit against some Hollywood exec for sexual assault. The incident happened only one year ago. So freaking weird. Where do these people get the nerve to put there hands on others? Are they out of their minds drunk? You go Terry! Nobody ****s around with Macho Camacho Mountain Dew.

Especially Terry Crews. The guy is a beast who looks like he could rip any mortal into pieces. His muscles have muscles.

Yes, it's all a major surprise.
11-09-2017 , 05:40 PM
Also, Louis CK now
11-09-2017 , 08:44 PM
On a more positive note,

Fish, I made it to your land!

I killed no deer or elk, however.

The second best thing I saw there was a car wash with a sign out of front saying, "No blood and guts." lol

Lol. I'm not surprised at all. They cancelled his premiere of new film. HBO has pulled his projects. He had it coming.

Of course, this won't affect a Republican candidate running for the Senate.
11-10-2017 , 12:11 AM
