the monterey bay has a long history of italian fishermen (some may say italian fishermen made it what it is today). it's been almost 25 years since i lived in salinas but at least half the people i knew from monterey had italian surnames and probably a quarter of the folks from salas.

I ignore ATF, mostly (I only pursued the first few pages of the witch hunt thread, no need to go back). It's full of Drunk Irish Militants.

I own a pick up, an older Toyota 4x4. And also have a Ford Escort with an "ecoboost" engine. Meaning a 4-cylinder turbo charged engine that gets good gas mileage because of direct port injection.

Diebitter voted for Brexit so he is a xenophobic racist and imperialist Limey.

He also wrote a great kid's book. A fun read.

I read a short essay by H.L. Mencken last night. On Being an American. Hilarious.
