Rewatched Paranormal Activity recently. Didn't scare me for a second, so I must have been in a different place first time I saw it.

Not really a horror flick, well maybe, but the original ending to Fatal Attraction when she slit her own throat bothered me for years. As for anything recently, the ending of Pearl made me have to look away. A few times. It just wouldn’t stop….. lol

Oh and I spent 10-15 years getting over the last scene of Blair Witch Project; again I have no idea why this got to me.
Speaking of Disney, this scene always gave me nightmares as a kid.

If i engage the memory and feeling of going from a happy lighthearted shroom trip, to sitting down where one of the Halloween movies was on the tv, i can still access the visual of the Meyer's house breathing pure evil breath.

Shrooms... L25... Mescaline... Peyote... the Dragon...

Thankfully I never suffered from the dreaded 'Dread' syndrome

Almost all Disney films scared me as a kid. The first movie I ever saw was Alice in Wonderland. When Alice fell down the hole, I went running from the theater.

And those brooms carrying the water buckets. wtf was that all about?

Remembered another great one with a haunting ending, "Don't look now".

Been a while since I watched it but its a really well made + chilling film with Donald Sutherland, well worth a watch!

If you want to watch a great horror movie from last year, Pearl is the one to watch. It is a prequel to X (2022), so strongly recommend watching X first, but Pearl is just magnificent - Douglas Sirk meets modern horror, with a eye for colour that reminds me of Lynch's Blue Velvet and Wild at Heart.

Yes it was good. It was more suspenseful than being a gory violent horror film as X was. Looking forward to the next instalment of the trilogy set in the LA porn scene in the 80s. Perhaps we might get a cameo from one of the regulars on here

Dawn of the Dead is the only movie to ever give me nightmares, at least that I recall.

The tooth scene in Bug will haunt me forever I imagine. I'm not one of those people who remembers movie scenes forever and quotes random lines (except for Anchorman, lol), but this scene sticks with me. I love lamp.
