I had a roommate who looked a good bit like Newman, blue eyes and all too, and the women generally went completely nuts over him. It was kinda cool and amazing to see actually.

Most amazing thing about this thread (aside from all the guys happily posting their mancrushes) - is the hate for Laura Linney. I understand if she's not everyone's ideal woman - but repulsive? Ugly as sin?

She's almost 45 and she looks amazing for her age. Let's see how Evangeline Lilly is looking in another 15+ years.

The reason I don't like her has something to do with her speech. Doesn't she have sort of a halting way of speaking? Or maybe she has kind of a low register, or a slightly monotone register. Or maybe it's a southern register? Not really sure. But I'm pretty sure there is something wrong with her register!

My roommate senior year in college looked like a cross between Christy Turlington and Angelina Jolie (big lips). When I would go out with her somewhere, even just walking down the street, guys would come up to her constantly, asking for her number, telling her how beautiful she was and that she should be a model, etc. etc. (which was true and not just boy BS). It was always such a surreal experience, and I admit - it made me laugh to see all the guys falling all over themselves.

That I was lying on the beach of the beautiful island that I owned in the middle of the Pacific.

Hobby, it is is pretty great. I have my most fun as a man during the secret meetings when we decide how much less you gals will make in the workforce, compared to us.

That's because it IS easier being male. I mean we do not have to put up with anywhere NEAR the crap women do. Well that and we can pee standing up.

I had the same problem when I was younger. Had a best friend who was a blond haired, blue eyed pretty boy. We played in a band together and were always hanging out together. Anyway, wherever we went women would all but throw themselves at him, running me down if I happened to be in the way. The funniest part was he always ended up pickup up gals who just were not that good looking. After a while I realized that whenever he was out he wouldn't wear his glasses so he couldn't see faces all that well. All of the gals he ended up with had one thing in common and that was their sizable attributes which he could make out even with blurred vision.
