The bummer of this is that I have no clue what category to pick first. I feel like there has to be a way to sneak music-hatred in all of these.

I think each round everyone should do one category. Have a movie round, a food round, etc.

The randomness makes these drafts more interesting. Wondering if you should hold out on a pick is sort of the uh... strategy of it all. The idea is to try not to get something picked before you pick it. The randomness makes it possible to pick up, for example, film before a person who went before you who may have decided to go with a wild card.

It isn't hard to guess what song I'll likely end up picking, and I also know that unless Kudzu is in the draft, that one likely won't get picked, so I can save it to the end and pick something someone else is more likely to pick at the start.

Draft is in a reverse snake format. First round goes from redbuck to Dom, and 2nd round goes from Dom to redbuck. And we alternate like that round by round.

I've changed one category: Musical group is out and Inanimate Object is in! I just think hating on non-people is more fun. However, I encourage you to interpret these categories in any way you wish - as long as your write-up backs up your pick, I will accept it.

You can choose any category at any time - when it is your turn. Once someone or something has been chosen - it cannot be chosen again - in any category.

Once it's your turn, you have 4 hours to make your pick. The clock starts once the guy before you makes his pick. You will be skipped if you have not made a pick within the 4 hour limit. You can make up any picks you have missed once you are back online.

Once you make a pick, you are expected to make a write-up defending that pick - that's the whole point of these things, actually! You are also expected to enter your picks in the spreadsheet - that ain't my yob, Mang. You also MUST PM the next guy after you, so he knows it's his turn! Don't forget to do this, please.

Since it's Saturday night, I'll say the draft starts at noon EST Sunday. However, redbuck can make his pick any time before that. If the next person up wants to make his pick after that, he can..., and so on....but he will not be deemed late until noon Sunday.
