I didn't believe anything in the whole movie. Loved the whole movie. Drexl (note spelling) the best part. "You must think today White Boy Day" has served me well as poker babble in more PLO games than I can count.
I've got to disagree with you. Not only do I not believe that is a great scene, I don't even think it was the best scene or song from the movie. It may have worked as a stage production, but on screen I thought it was both boring and overproduced.
If I was going to choose a song/scene from Sweet Charity, it would definitely be Hey Big Spender.

I keep losing my response, but briefly: it was and is a great scene. It was the first time most people had seen dancing like Fosse's and it was the perfect send up of its times.
