That Jacuzzi looks so lonely covered in a few days of snow like that.

I think we should put off spring until NhlNut takes a dip.

Spring in The People's Republic of Texas is equivalent to what others call the Dog Days of summer. I suggest we put it off for as long as possible.

While waiting for the spring thaw and an end to Nor'easters so we get a new thread, I thought Loungers, film buffs all, would find the article linked below interesting, and a way to pass the boring hours while the snow melts:

Spring in LA is usually what others call 70 degrees and sunny. For some reason, it's been raining nearly non-stop for 2 weeks, which is what people in LA call "****ed up" and "well, we need it." This is winter weather, so technically, I have to be in the same boat as John.

I may have to buy a boat if this keeps up.

Zeno,

My cousin spent the past couple days playing golf in Oregon at Bandon Dunes. And just until a couple days ago I had never heard of these courses. Got Them Winter Blues? The Lounge LC Thread

John,

I can drive to Bandon Dunes in under an hour. I don't golf, but the course is beautiful and there are numerous hiking trails that wander about the hills and course. I hike there when the weather allows. There is also an outdoor fireplace, a great pub/tavern and upscale restaurant. Haven't been to the restaurant but the pub place is nice and has some great food, delicious clams, draft beer, and sports on the TV's. And you can rub elbows with the rich scum from California, Washington and other more faraway places. I fit right in.

In more local news, right in redneck town that is closer, another golf course is in the process of being built. Why I don't know but the proposed name fits: Pacific Gales.

My cousin is from California, but he's not rich. A bit scummy perhaps, but that's true of most of my relations.
