I'm down for 2018 being a year of winter blues. This year is starting out bad and seems to be getting worse every week.

At least it stopped raining.

In decent news, I booked a gig for May. They gave me a 3 1/2 hour slot and I'm thinking there is zero chance I'm filling that. Even a DJ is going to burn out before that, lol.

I invited my guitar-playing friend to double bill the night and she said sure. So, now I only have to worry about filling 1 1/2 hours, which I can do.

It's a paid gig, but the money wouldn't be that much even if I was solo. Besides, everyone would definitely leave during that marathon, which is bad since I'm only getting a cut of the bar. It'll be fun now and probably even out in the wash.

This is a bit of a live performance I did a month ago. The first 4 minutes was just me tanking hard so I removed that. This me trying like hell to get off stage but I'm stuck.

It's strange. I was so mad that I recorded this that I didn't look at it for several weeks. I watched all of it and I sometimes wonder if I'm being to hard on myself. It's part improv part stuff I already know. Turns out that 3 of the 4 items were incomplete at the time...

According to Google, it will finally get over 50 in RI around 8pm eastern time tomorrow, which I obviously do not believe because that prediction fell through today.

Also, according to Google, it will be over 60 on Friday, but raining cats and dogs, only to dip down to the mid-50s with full sun the next day.

I predict the spring thread will be up during a torrential heat storm.

Rhode Island has some strange weather.

I see that it's 80 with a flash flood warning in Austin. Can't say I miss that wonderful springtime weather.
