Okay... I had to look up this conspiracy...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donnie_Moore

Donnie Ray Moore (February 13, 1954 – July 18, 1989) was an American relief pitcher in Major League Baseball (MLB) who played for the Chicago Cubs (1975, 1977–79), St. Louis Cardinals (1980), Milwaukee Brewers (1981), Atlanta Braves (1982–84) and California Angels (1985–88). He is best known for giving up an important home run to Red Sox outfielder Dave Henderson in the 1986 American League Championship Series. He committed suicide shortly after his professional career ended.

once the dodgers left brooklyn they left the earth as far as i am concerned.

back when i was a little kid it was ebbets field for them and the polo grounds for the giants. lost them both. 300 foot right field for ebbets.

Yes, threads got merged somehow.

Sandy Koufax had 27 complete games each of his last two years. Best lefty I ever saw.

"Yeah, Brandy used to watch his eyes
When he told his sailor stories
She could feel the ocean fall and rise
She saw its ragin' glory."

I'm not sure that "raging glory" refers to the sea.

I get these sports desk calendars at my used bookstore, a steal for only $1. Each morning I get a little old sports fix, it's pretty cool. Some of them have great vintage photos too, and the best ones I save. I saved Oct. 2, it has the 55th anniversary of Koufax opening the 63 Series vs. the evil Yankees by striking out 15 and winning 5-2. Koufax was really something special, even though he was slightly before my time growing up. I was a Bob Gibson man as a Missouri boy ofc.

I really only saw Koufax in the '66 World Series when I was 12. He was phenomenal. He went 4-3 in World Series starts with a 0.95 ERA. Amazing.

And the best ever? Pedro Martinez! Lowest ERA of all time compared to league average in his most dominant year.

The song list has passed 80 songs. I'm barely stretching myself to dive into the vault of "stuff you probably never heard of."

The organization is the fun part. I have classical, one blues song, one country song, a bunch of covers / remixes of known songs spanning drum & bass, dubstep, chillstep, and other formats. I then have a load of truly rare songs from known artists like Nine Inch Nails, Thom Yorke (of Radiohead), Madonna, REM, and more. Added some punk in there for good measure.

Then a load of musicians I'm guessing no one has heard of, and then tossed in maybe 3 or 4 songs that everyone heard.

I'm struggling with the rap stuff because it's very hard to find rap that I enjoy that isn't super vulgar.

I only put one my own pieces in there, which I'm guessing isn't overly egotistical. No one heard of that musician either, I'd reckon.

Let it me known, there is a song on YouTube with Madonna that only has 10,000 views:
