i just got a brand spankin new pixel 3 i wanted to be up to date on the lastest gizmos. up to date for me is 3 years behind.
heaven forbid that red eyed guy might not agree.

I don't typically drink other than Fridays and sometimes Saturdays but I think I may have a few tonight. In honor of the World Series Besides I am supposed to be on vacation where drinking norms don't apply. I had a trip to Vegas planned for this week. I booked it a while back but cancelled it a couple of weeks ago due to the reinstated mask mandates in LV. I did the mask thing there back in April and that was my post vaccine celebration trip. But the masks really sucked and I just can't do that again. Ironically I am in Illinois which is one of the few states that still has mask mandates. But 15 minutes in the grocery store is different from 8 hours in the poker room. But I digress ...

Go Braves! As a White Sox fan I always adopted an NL team as my own. When I was a kid it was the Braves because Milwaukee was close and I spent a lot of time at my Grandfathers Wisconsin cottage and I was a HUGE Hank Aaron fan. Then when I lived in San Diego I dumped the Braves for the Padres. I eventually ended up in Houston and adopted the Astros. But my boys put a whuppin on the Astros in 2005 and then they moved to the AL where nobody needs 'em. I readopted the Brewers as they shifted to the NL. But they are out now so I gotta go with my first NL love the Braves!

to be clear, i'm not bagging on the pixel4a as a phone (i have no opinion), i'm bagging on it as being the generator of John's signature.

I still don't fully accept the Astros as an AL team. Just ain't right.

I spent a couple of years as an Astros fan in the late 80s while I was studying math in College Station, TX. Watched most games, read the Houston sportswriters each morning after. Young Craig Biggio at 2nd, young pre-scandal Ken Caminiti at 3rd, etc. Heh I was kinda an Oilers fan as well iirc.

Well, The Braves got scalped to even the series. They need to go on the warpath next game.
