So that's where the opening line comes from.

Don't Fall Backward. Or, alternatively, Always Fall Forward.

I always like to see my dear friend in the OP. He was much in real life as he was here. Kind, funny, and certainly nerdy.

I really am exhausted. I intend to spend Friday night napping. Let Zeno and MrBaseball drink away.

I'll go for a walk on the beach first; then drink away my Blues.

As soon as the closing bell rings I am gonna pop a beer and head out to the deck to sit in the sun and read. Then tonight I am gonna grill up some brats. Really nice out today and the weather will be turning south soon so I gotta enjoy it while I can.

jeffery dahmer also liked to grill up some brats.

Those brats were awesome! Bratwurst and cheap ass domestic beer brings me back to my glory days going to college in Wisconsin with weekly brat fry's at local taverns.

Was at the store yesterday, and happened to notice some local-brand pork/bacon/cheddar sausages on sale.

Grilled them up, splashed some Red Hot on them, then topped with mozzarella I let melt down. Yum!

Played poker for the first time in a couple years yesterday at Foxwoods. Going sailing today. Nice to do things after a long week at work.

Some questions that need to be answered:

09-28-2021 , 04:30 PM
I am not used to asking women out on dates (the last few have asked me), but this time I had to ask.
09-28-2021 , 09:03 PM
that explains the exhaustion

John, I'm curious, what is the age range of women you would ask out? How young would you go, if she were interested?

Probably 55 although I have gone out with one who was fifty a couple years ago. Current is 63.

John is operating 40 years over my upper boundary. He must still be trying to talk to them.

In the more serious side of the news, it looks like the Dodgers and the Giants are both >100 game winners and one is headed to a one game wild-card play-in. Brutal. The AL East looks like a dog fight. Can't explain why, but I think this may be the year the Brewers make a good run at it.
