FWIW I hear ribbedtee is pretty high quality and their shirts are significantly longer than average, I'm about to take a shot at them and will report back.

Sly,

I have a very similar body type and J. Crew slim fits in medium fit me great. Best tees I've found.

Anyone have any suggestions? Really don't care on price obv.
I am just under 6', and I have broad shoulders that taper to a small waist (42 inch chest and 32 inch waist). Everlane's large t-shirts fit me perfectly, save for being just a tad too long for my tastes, so they'd probably be just right for you. They're excellent quality, and you get free shipping on your first order, so you should give them a whirl.

J.Crew has an extra 30% off regular items, which is as high as it ever goes, and 40% off final sale items with free shipping on all purchases for 10/10. This sweater was calling to me as something different ...

Thanks for the leads guys.

What's the verdict on Allen Edmunds boot sizing? With the sale going on was going to grab these http://www.allenedmonds.com/aeonline...000001_-1_6043.

Typically wear 11D. Sized my current boots down, by reviews these seem to fit more true.

I sized my Long Branch up half a size from what I wear in Allen Edmonds shoes, figuring I'd be using thicker socks, and it worked out well.

Going to be doing Budapest -> Berlin -> Prague -> Tokyo this December, any recommendations on some warm outerwear / layering options? I live in LA so not really sure I'm properly outfitted atm. Appreciate any input.

I'm getting married in Jan and have bought a charcoal suit from Indochino (link here) and I need help finding shoes. I like brown, actually what the guy is wearing here: http://www.indochino.com/images/prod...1.original.jpg looks pretty good to me. Can someone offer some suggestions? I'd really like to keep it under $150.

I'd go with the Allen Edmonds Fifth Avenue in burnished (dark) brown. They are a good balance of formal but stylish still.

If you need to stay under $150 though, I'd probably look at Johnston & Murphy or Cole Haan I guess. Or maybe a used pair of Allen Edmonds from ebay/Styleforum.

How big is this wedding and what level of formality are we talking about? Black shoes would be a lot better for a wedding (in general) than brown, and you need to have a pair anyway for funerals and other formal events anyway.

Thanks everyone, I checked out a Cole Haan outlet by my house but they didn't have much that I liked. Their selection online looks much better. I've found a couple other stores that carry the other brands so I plan to take a look this week.

Size is approximately 40 people, semi-formal. I have a pair of black shoes but was really looking for something different.

I have been to 5 weddings this year, all where not wearing a suit would have been underdressed and felt that they were not formal enough to require black shoes. I think at most of them the groom was wearing black shoes though.

I assume if you are looking for "something different" the wedding won't be super formal and you are fine to go with a brown over black. It is over your price range but Allen Edmonds has a sale on most of their shoes for the next few days and they are great shoes.

Congrats!

I bought http://www.eastdane.com/officer-lace...SE_froogle_USA these boots. Trying to figure out if I need to do any particular care or treatment. I'd prefer to be able to wear them in moderately poor weather, and not destroy them. Any advice?

Looking for a nice brown chelsea or chelsea-like boot for winter that is available in Canada. Would like to keep it under $200 as they will probably be toast by the end of the season. Suggestions?

With pretty minimal care a nice pair will last for a long time unless you wear them every single day.

Don't Chelsea boots have an elastic side panel? Wouldn't that be worthless in harsh temps/conditions?

I have a pair of Johnston Murphy boots that may interest you. I am at work and can link when I'm home or you can check their site. Has treaded soles and a wool patch at top.
