I barely remember watching some Tom Baker episodes, aka the
fourth doctor.
And Peter Davison, aka the
fifth doctor:
Not enough that I would remember any plot lines. It was ages ago.
Love Christopher Eccleston, in general,
the ninth doctor and the beginning of the modern series:
Because of Eccleston, it took me a long time to warm to
David Tennant in the role:
Not fair to David, really. In retrospect, Tennant did an wonderful job with the doctor.
Doctor Eleven? I was pretty skeptical when I learned that not only were we getting a new doctor, but new head writer and executive producer.
I actually did a marathon viewing of the episodes out in the US last night and overall I'm pretty pleased. Matt Smith is a little ADD even for the Doctor, but I think he can handle it and Karen Gillian as Amy Pond is the best companion since Rose, who will be hard to knock out of my #1 spot.
So far the episodes aired in the US are:
The Eleventh Hour
The Beast Below
Victory of the Daleks
The Time of Angels
Flesh and Stone
The Vampires of Venice
Sadly, I'll probably often be behind on this thread because it's one of those "schedule to view with other family members" shows.
