Pomplamoose.

They're really good and have a lot of great covers - also have some very good original stuff like:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9KMgg7T_sg

I actually think I found them many years ago when someone posted one of their videos on 2+2. Probably in the anti-tilt videos-thread.

(Btw you can click on the 'watch on youtube'-link at the bottom of embedded youtubes here to go to the youtube page and get all info for videos posted.)

Edit: yep - way back in 2010.

Here's a Screamo version of Rhianna & Eminem's "Like the Way it Hurts."

This is some rock YouTube cover of the same. Guess it's random if you don't know why Ray Williams Johnson is:

Here is the copy of that song that I grew up with :

Pretty damn good cover of a damn good song by you know who:

*Hot Tuna did a brilliant cover of this song also. Seven million dead tuna to the person that can find it and post it.

Lady Lucan died. I saw her in the street about a month ago. But this is the covers only thread.

Sorry I can't sing so I don't even try. I like playing these songs. Much respect and all credit goes to:

Jethro Tull pianist for creating the stunning intro to "Locomotive Breath."

The writer of "American Pie" whose name I forget.

Counting Crows for Long December.

Whoever wrote Auld Lang Syne.

And the Beatles.

I find it inspiring.

My fav is the band with the electronic drumpad.

Great live cover

Can't wait for the new X machine.

Yeah,I wouldn't even drop a load on either ones back, that's how much I don't care for their music.

But this one, it's got something that makes it good.....

Does David Lee Roth covering David Lee Roth count?

Also love Pink's cover of What's Up. Not sure if this counts since the singer of 4 Non Blondes is actually playing the guitar with her.

Not a huge fan of Miley Cyrus's normal output, but gdamn does she have a voice. Love this cover of the Dolly Parton classic.

I like this. I don't know much about Miley, but have liked everything I've heard from her -- this despite the fact that I once got stuck in traffic for 45 minutes by a herd of middle school girls stampeding towards a Hannah Montana concert.

When my grandkids ask me, "What's a rock star?" I'm gonna show them this video. Pretty sure they'll get it.

I will not (with rare exceptions) award a band Garage Band status without hearing their rendition of Boney Maroney. This band certainly passes the test. Two lead guitarists, and two of the greatest, Johnny Winter and Floyd Radford.
