I'm glad there's autocorrect. Something deserves the blame.

I could never get past Cleo Laine's hair. I just nerd-wikied her. I worked in Southall in 2006, training to be a teacher. Living in Greenford. Man, Greenford is the hinterland. I walked round it all a couple of months ago. Big distances between everywhere. Drinking gin now. Carry on.

Another Little Walter cover, by the T-Birds, with, I believe, Keith Ferguson on bass.

Sara Bareilles version of Laura Nyro's Stoney End at Nyro's introduction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. My sisters used to play the groves off Nyro's album.

Nice version. It's one of my favorite songs, and I find myself thinking of the lyrics, especially "Let me start all over" as I grow older. But is there anything much better than "I was raised on the good book Jesus til I read between the lines" or "Never mind the forecast for the skies have lost control"?
