I heard Thunder Road today too, and I had no idea why. They never play Springsteen here.

Thunder Road has some of the best lyrics ever written imo. Such a cinematic song. Entire first verse is perfection.

Anyway I heard "The Boys Are Back in Town" by Thin Lizzy the other day on the car radio. One of the all-time great summer songs.
