I gotta see Ivanka in jeans a t-shirt at some point...she always dresses like she's hiding some gigantic butt and saddlebags...

i liked Christina Ricci's dress...very cool.

Don't they look like cardboard cut outs?

I loved Angelina Jolie's multi-brown dress and she looked great in it. I loved the pants peaking out at the bottom too.

Brad Pitt had on too much black and the hair style was too soft. He has the kind of face that can pull off a rather stark cut and he looks really good in them. With or without a little gray he'll always be a great looking man with that timeless bone structure.

Jenna Fisher: ok, somehow the beading looked a tad busy, but I liked the gown's color and her hair was good

Diane Lane - the cut of the bodice of her gown could have been better if it'd been a square across neckline. Would have liked her better in black, low square neckline with no A line cut on the skirt. A lines are for fuller figures (or for bridesmaids who all want to come across looking uniform for wedding pics) so she'd have reaped sexy points by wearing a narrower skirt.

Gayheart: I found the red to be a bit overpowering. I think if she could have broke the color up maybe if the skirt had been black I would have liked it a lot better. But she couldn't go wrong with that escort. I'll take McSteamy over McDreamy any day.

Hudson: beautiful dress, blah hair and it looks like her makeup artist was on vacation when she got dressed

Clooney needs to smile more and show some teeth because that smile can light up a room.

Demi Moore: she showed the plunging neckline, the halter neckline, the v-neckline and the more straight across square neckline. If you compare all the pics I think you can see the more square straight across cut looks the best though she can get away with several. People have color palettes that suit them. They also fall into geometrical shapes so that certain cuts are more flattering than others. In Demi's case she's a star so she should always be dressed in the most flattering shape and colors not just getting away with things. If I had her money I'd always have the dress made to my personal specs and always look fabulous. Of course, stars may reap a lot more attention on the runway when the announcer is announcing they're in Vera Wang, or Armani or some other famous designer so maybe there would be a few exceptions to be made for advertising purposes only.

lol. I use to wonder about this boob issue too and now I guess I just think it is the effect from implants? Not sure. We need some men to weigh in on this and tell us what is going on with her boobs in this photo.

I don't like. It's way too fussy with all that print/pattern work on it. It looks kind of cheap imo.

I like her twin's dress better.
Not me. I like Jenna's dress. I was surprised by her choice because at first glance it looked rather unsophisticated and maybe had too much texture for my taste.

"Created by Oscar de la Renta, the dress was a white embroidered organza gown. Every detail of the embroidery is done to perfection as you can see"

But as usual, I eventually came around. To me it looks very vintage. I love that it is sweet and old fashioned. At first I thought "What the heck" but then I was like "hm, that has a phenomenal amount of lace detail" and later I was like omg that organza gown has a very old feel to it. I like that it has a short train and unpretentious cut.

and this:

They're both so original and interesting to me...and Ricci's especially fits in with the superhero theme.
I like the first dress you posted better than the second. The second one would take a lot of guts to wear. I love the pink skirt but not the see through aspect.

I had only heard that Gisele had had a nose job - Hadn't heard the thing about her also having a boob job. Supposedly she was God's gift to mankind because she was uber skinny and she had boobs too...this puts a slightly different spin on it if they're fake...

I don't think that the skirt is completely see-through (I may be wrong about that), but just the red really shows. It definitely is quite form-fitting which takes some chutzpah to pull off for sure.

gisele doesn't have a boob job...she's all natural. she's an odd-looking thing with a mannish face...but don't doubt for a second i'd hit that like there's no tomorrow.

LOL, the lighting in this makes them both look like cardboard cutouts. Other than that, Brady is wearing his tux almost as well as you can. His shirt sleeves should be showing and his jacket sleeves are too long. Other than that, it looks great.

That's a lot of dress to have to live up to. If it looks like people had to carry you from the car, you're probably going a little overboard.

Clearly, you have never known the joys of wearing a big pouffy dress so I don't know if I can really take your opinion into account here...

I liked the Longoria dress. Something very original about it. But the last 3 dresses from Gyllehaal down are all in very bad taste.

apart from maggies smooth skin she looks like she could be 15yrs older than she is. something about the eyes, hairdo and her facial expression.

She does look very haggard. And her broad face is made into a pie plate by her hairstyle. A bit of extra fleshiness in the face is one of the first things that makes one look older, and she appears to have that naturally, too.

Cannes Film Festival

Gwyneth Paltrow - Lol! this is a very odd choice. Looks like something a kid would design. Fun shoes though.

Natalie Portman (I think only she could pull this off!)

Ford and Flockhart

I've never been a fan of the asymmetric look but I have to admit she looks pretty happy here. The blue looks good on her. I think she could have picked a more interesting gown though.

Or is another Natalie Portman dress from Cannes:

I think this one is maybe halfway interesting but I ABSOLUTELY DETEST RUFFLES. On anybody...unless you're a little girl under the age of 9. Then they're fine.

Agreed. And flat. Probably most people are one or the other, but to be both is unlucky.

Also agreed on Portman's ruffly dress. She looks like a set of overlapping valances. Put those ruffles over a window.
