I had no idea what 9trip was talking about. I just figured he must have been drunk. You sure he wasn't just joking? I thought he was joking around. I don't know. I figured it was a drunk thing because of the weird pics he posted. I didn't see any sense at all in that post of his to tell you the truth.

Part of the patriarchal conspiracy? FWIW I've never claimed to be a fan of huge fake boobs or people getting so much surgery they start getting called cat people. Quite a load, and I mean that in both senses of that word, to be laying on my shoulders. It also seems fundamentally flawed to be laying the blame for whatever a woman decides to do with her looks always on someone else's shoulders. That an attempt was made to lay any of the blame on me for whatever those women do to themselves is ridiculous.
We don't blame you for our sagging breasts, we just blame you for making fun of them! Just kidding, come on now . As for why girls get fake boobs, it's because of their own weak self identity and their misguided ideas that big boobs = successful life. Of course you are not to be blamed for girls's low self worth Blarg. I thought that was obvious. I actually liked your original post and thought I said as much.

I think I've largely given up on the idea that forums chase women away. They just largely find themselves getting called on sh*t they get away with too easily elsewhere, and take off running. btw it is no longer possible for me to divide text into paragraphs. This software is weird!
Sorry about your paragraphs. As for why women flee forums I think there are probably several reasons but the one you state is definitely a big one. It would make for a good thread.

Comments on this look?

I don`t like the hair, i don`t like the beard, and i hate the suit.
I think Brad Pitt is a good example to use, cause like Clooney they have the face and body that goes well with all kind of clothes, they are just good looking.

As for suit i prefer more soft style, this suits look weird in colour, and it look like the wrong fit, somewhere it is stretched, other places wrinkled or whatever.
he looks like a banker from the ol wild west

I agree on the hat issue, it just screams "trying too much" imo.

haha, I like that description - "banker from the ol wild west". Maybe that's why I like it . It looks like a costume, something from a different time period. It's a bold move and I like the color on him, but I do agree that the fabric looks wrinkly and I think you're right that the fit is not the best. Here's another picture of the suit that shows the fabric better. I'm still digging it (even if it is a little saggy).

This tie seems really wide to me. I don't know anything about ties but isn't this a little wide or is it just the color that gives it that illusion? Wish I could get a closer look at his shoes.

I like his short hair and beard. Very handsome.

I've always called Brad's hat a driving hat 'cause guys who drive RX7s or XJSs or cars like that wear them.

I'm not a hat person, either. My neck is too short, my head too small. There was one hat, tho, a black fashion hat with mariboo on the brim that I was surely tempted by.

These high fashion models are only 14-17 years old despite Make Me A Supermodel and America's Next Top Model. The Ford Agency's model of the year for 2007 is a 12 year old Korean girl.

12? Wow that's scary.

This girl (from above post) looks really young to me. Wonder how old she is. She looks like she could be 15.

I really like this next girl's style. This jacket made me laugh but I love the fact that she can pull it off. It's a Hanii Y high neck jacket with lantern sleeves (sorry girls, it's sold out ...I checked). Do you love these buttons or what! Also, I love her nude colored boots with the white pants. Damn this girl has style.

From this angle the suit looks a lot better. Maybe it was just a weird picture.

I am no expert either, but yes the tie is a bit wide.
I don`t think it is that dominant, and actually thinks the colour combination helps here.
What makes it look more wide than it is, is that he is wearing a quite slim suit, and he is not a wide guy himself imo.

Well i am no fan of things "overdone", and this jacket might be in that category.
However, it looks great on her, due to a great match with the rest of her clothes/accesories and the fact she she has a great body to pull it off.
Esp. when it comes to the boots and tight white pants, combined with a very short jacket. This is a risk/reward combination

She kept saying how he's immature and shallow and is scared of commitment. Well, I know her boyfriend and he is none of those things, so I asked her, "what makes you think he's scared of commitment?"

"Because he won't commit to me!" LDO, right?

I replied, "Have you ever thought that maybe he's perfectly fine with commitment but he's just not interested in committing to you?"

Exactly like the scene in When Harry Met Sally when Sally realizes her ex, who just got married, wasn't afraid of commitment at all - he just didn't want to marry her.

Yeah, I believe in tough love. The realization that spread across her face was amazing. It was like a light went on in her head that had never previously been lit. And she didn't like it.

Of course, she immediately rejected that idea out of hand.
Heheh, I've thought this same thing with regard to the legendary "fear of commitment" canard many times. It's hilarious that men are often called immature for not wanting to commit, when it's both committing to someone who's not right for you and wanting someone to commit to you who isn't keen on the idea that are what's really childish and wrong-headed.

The bruise-like eyeshadow and patented disconsolate boredom of runway models make her look like she's already addicted to heroin.

I like the boots a lot too and think they go well with the pants, but for all the heavyness of the jacket's neck, it is too short on the bottom. It looks like you would sweat up the neck while getting icy drafts up your belly. Also I don't care for how short and wide the sleeves are past the bicep. It looks like someone sewed on some leftover drapery.

Tie looks fine to me. Shoes look like wing-tip bluchers. I prefer my suit pants cuffed, but his look fine to me. I like the fact that he is wearing a pocket square. Seems like that is a thing of the past (my wife always looks at me strange when I put in a pocket square), but I like them.

Here's my two cents:

Too too much bland. Her outfit is too much boring neutral...I would have like it better if there was some color in there because honestly, neutrals aren't really doing anything for her. Coat is cute - if you live in CA where it's warm. Bring that anywhere where they actually have cold weather and FREEZE because it is too short. It's more like a cape than a coat...

And what's with the revival of the 80s (a la the pics from the fashion show)? That's what I don't understand....

for some reason i don't like that look on bilson at all and she is normally hot...maybe the combo of short baggy jacket with high boots makes her look like a midget? can't really put my finger on it...im also not really a fan of the long pants tucked into the boots, totally subjective though...and those are some huge glasses, wtf...

Haha! now that I look at that jacket again I have to agree with you. She does look like a midget! And I agree with Blarg that the lantern sleeves are a strange attachment. Omg, what was I thinking. Gah, I have very questionable taste. (But the buttons rule!) I have a coat that is roughly the same color although it's much more classic and long. I love my brown coat

but I still like Rachel's boots. Those boots are sexy.

I like the overall look of the coat, Katy, but when you look at it a bit, it seems to come apart. Some weird choices were made.

Definitely also a fan of the boots.

I'm not 100% sure the colors in the jacket and in the boots perfectly match.

Some of you know that I'm a big fan of the May-December romance but when it comes to me I like my men old. Still, I have to admit that there's a part of me that smiles when I see Demi Moore and I think "You go girl!" She has a handsome young guy who seems to dote on her. Whenever I see pictures of these two he's smiling at her very lovingly, or nuzzling her hair. And they sure are stylish.

(I wonder if Blarg thinks she's too old for this low cut dress)

Is this a velvet jacket?

I'm a fan of ruching. Great dress for her figure.

I like this next dress. Very 60s. And she's got really nice legs too!

Are these two cute or what? Love the splash of green.

I like this suit on Ashton. He cleans up nicely

Ok guys, so here's the question....
I know we've talked about long hair on women before....guys like it, we get it. But is there an age where long hair is maybe TOO long on Demi? Do you think she would look prettier if it were shorter?

Celebrity Fashions Quote
02-23-2008 , 11:22 PM
I like demi, she's still very pretty and can pull off any look she wants. Ashton's a lucky dude.

I like the long hair on her...but that bottom photo is more than likely extensions...so her hair is probably not that long.

I think she can do better than by wearing that plunging neckline. Mostly I wonder how a guy can never get tired of the "I don't know what a comb is" or the "I think it's the 80's and I'm Don Johnson" unshaven look. At least he matches though -- he keeps his head studiously unkempt from top to bottom.

I finally saw Cameron Diaz's outfit at the Oscars. I think she looked great. The fashionistas were saying the ponytail looked bad and she should have worn more make-up, but I think that's silly, especially the latter. If you've seen her without make-up, she's pretty rough looking these days and needs LOTS of make-up to look like she did that night. I'd say her make-up artist was indeed an artist.

So what is with the idea of wearing even more than you need to make you just look great? Does purple eyeshadow really make someone look any better or prettier? Feh.

Wow I can't believe the last time I posted in this thread was February. That was a long time ago!

So I saw some crazy celebrity dresses and wanted to get your opinion on these. This was some kind of Costume Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the theme was Superheroes or something like that. There were a bunch but I thought I would start with these,

The Olsen Twins

With all their money you would think that the Olsen twins could find something a little more stylish. One wonders if they use stylists or if they choose these dresses at the last minute as an afterthought.

I sort of like her shoes.

This is Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady (nice looking couple)

Here is Dom's dream date, Ivanka Trump:

Dom, you like?

Finally, have to mention Jenna Bush because as you all know she just got married! And I'm crazy about wedding dresses oh yes I am. I could look at them all day long and never grow tired of them. Ever. (Man I chose the wrong career.)

So here you go. What do you think girls? Do you like?

I love it. I think she looks beautiful, though I was very surprised at her choice. I would love to get a look at it up close.

Oh here we go (found one),

Which reminds me, entertainme's daughter has a wedding coming up! How are the wedding plans coming along entertainme?

I don't like. It's way too fussy with all that print/pattern work on it. It looks kind of cheap imo.

I like her twin's dress better.

There were lots of crazy dresses at that costume gala katy...here are my favorites from it:

They're both so original and interesting to me...and Ricci's especially fits in with the superhero theme.
