Thought I would just start a new thread for this since I was kind of getting into posting a lot of pics in the January NC thread. I intend to bump this from time to time since I enjoy looking at pictures of celebrities and their fashions.

Ok so tell me if you love it, hate it, or what you think it says about the person wearing it...

Jenna Fischer (The Office) at the SAG awards.

I love her hair and makeup a lot. I think she looks gorgeous but I'm not sure about those studs! I will bet this dress looks fantastic in person.

Angelina and Brad

I do not like this dress very much but I do think her body looks smokin! This dress has a lot of fabric which I bet is very soft and flowing. Brad looks pretty good in his all black suit but I think his hair is too long and wonder if he's covering up a little gray. Not sure what I think about his facial hair. (His smiling eyes are awesome btw.) Lounge women, what do you think about Brad's hair, do you think he's hiding his gray?

Diane Lane - SAG Awards

This dress is a bit of a disappointment if you ask me. Doesn't it remind you of an outdated prom dress or something? I don't know, looks kind of old fashioned, even matronly. She's a beautiful girl and I think she could have chosen something more clingy and youthful. Also I heard her husband made an ass of himself at the awards show so I'm kind of feeling sorry for her. Come on Diane, you can do so much better!

Nobody is going to comment on Angelina's "sheet" dress? Thumbs down?

Angelina is rumored to be pregnant, hence the mumu.

And Diane Lane, while still very beautiful, IS a bit matronly now - she's my age, fer chrisake. And I saw the SAG Awards...Josh Brolin was pretty funny as he accepted the main award for the cast of No Country...he didn't make an ass of himself...unless you're talking about something else entirely.

Jenna Fischer, Ellen Page, etc...these girls are very pretty and look great in casual clothes...but for some reason, their bodies don't look like anything special when they dress up. Maybe it has to do with being short AND curvy.

fisher: i think this is the best of the dresses you posted, not overly loose, but still not a second skin, classy i think and i like the contrast with the studs...but i thinik she would look much better if she would stand up straight and kick her shoulders back so she wasn't slouching, wtf is w/ celebs having so bad of posture? it makes them look small and awkward in these photos (this is something i've noticed in the women moreso than the men)

bradgelina: i think i would prefer her flowy gown if she wasn't wearing pants, hmm, sounds weird. but i think it would be better if it went all the way to the ground or at least to her feet. she has a great figure and, being a guy, i want to see more of it. brad's suit is ok to me, but i would prefer it be buttoned the whole way, i think its much classier and the open neck looks kind of slovenly (right word?)...not really a fan of the hair coming down him face, looks like a step away from an emo kid, don't know about him having gray hair (angelina gives him too much stress?)

diane lane: STAND UP STRAIGHT!!!! she is ridiculously beautiful, but im not really seeing it in this pic...i think it might be her posture, but its making her chest look kind of droopy which is really put forward cuz she is wearing a really low cut top...

wow, i think that might be the most i've ever thought about anyones outfit ever and def my first fashion review...gonna go drink some beer and scratch my junk to regain masculinity...

Dom, if you were pregnant would you choose to wear a mumu to the SAG awards show? Wouldn't you pick something a little less, well, fabricy? Something that didn't require 30 yards of material...like maybe that green matron dress worn by Diane Lane?

There are women here? I thought that was just a rumor.

Re Brad hiding gray, I don't think that has anything to do with it, because of course he dyes his hair anyway. It looked natural in "Babel" where he was showing a ton of gray. I don't much like his look, it's a kinda weird "poseur" combination. Thumbs down on Angie's dress as well.

I got to see them up-close and in person at the "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" premiere and they looked much better. Of course, we were all younger then.

Fischer looks very nice. Stylist, elegant, classy. Thirrdan, I don't see anything wrong with her posture. This isn't the AVN awards, dude.

Diane Lane's dress has potential but needs more up top to prevent the quasi-matronly effect. More support, more material. She probably just should have skipped the cleavage and gone for a top like Fischer.

And... that's a wrap.

Ellen Page isn't really curvy though.

Jenna Fischer's dress looks like a hippy chick denim gig that was redone in satin.

Diane Lane is a very beautiful woman but does have a bit of the squarish face people tend to grow into as they age, so she's beyond the girl stage. I like the color of her dress a lot but think it is too low cut for her. Granted she has displayed quite often how magnificent her t*ts are, but they are getting too close to her elbows with age now. If you show cleavage, I think the eye should have a fairly short walk to the goodies. When they have to go through most of your torso to get there, it starts to become obvious that there is sagging going on even before you've seen the delights in question. I'm not at all a fan of neckboobs and push-up bras, but I think as you age it's time to get realistic about how low you want your neckine to go. Your gaze should plunge into the cleavage like you've fallen into a trapdoor, not go in search of it like you're following a trail of breadcrumbs back home.

Angelina Jolie -- I'm not a big fan of her anymore. She usually looks far too skinny lately, even puckered. Strained and skull-like. This is about as pretty as I've ever seen her, and better than she's looked to me in years. I don't care for the dress much but maybe it's doing something right, because it makes her boobs, shoulders, and upper body look spectacular before it sort of disappears off into its own blah.

Brad going grey -- you can't hide that by having long or messy hair. And if he wanted to hide it, he has the hairstylists to do it for him. I think his haircut is just the usual metro stuff he likes to go through. One day blonde, one day this one day that, whatever. He's very chick-like in that regard, or maybe he wishes he were a rock star. Or just wants to keep in the papers.

Love Jenna.

Angelina's dress is way to hippy dippy.

Lol. I think that's a very good description actually.

Ah good times. You sure do have a way with words. When I got to the bolded part I almost snorted . I agree with you that it's too low cut for her even though she is a beauty. Why do women do this?! There are probably hundreds of dresses that would have been more flattering and youthful on this beautiful actress. Oh if only I were her stylist.

Hey you are good at these fashion reviews Thirddan. Awesome.

Heheh I didn't even notice that Angelina was wearing pants! It didn't even register with me until I read your review and then I looked back at her pic. That's hilarious that I couldn't see her pants under the mound of fabric I interpreted as a "dress".

I agree with your comment about Brad's open neck being slovenly. Good point. He should make an attempt to look more formal for these awards shows. Sheesh. I hope we all agree, however, that his laughing eyes are pretty spectacular.

Do you really think Jenna is slouching in that pic? I don't know, I think she looks very feminine and pretty. Maybe her shoulders don't go back any farther than that.

You got to see them up close! WoW, that's pretty cool pineapple! So what did they look like? Is she stunning in person? Is he very tall or is he a little shorty? I'm trying to remember when Mr & Mrs. Smith came out. Was that before or after his Troy physique?

Rebecca Gayheart and the sexy doctor from Grey's Anatomy - SAG Awards

Now this is a gown! Ok don't laugh but I actually like this dress a lot. It's an awesome shade of red and really captures that whole Hollywood glamour thing. It's bold but I think she pulls it off. I like her hair in the pony tail and the tulle at the bustline. Yeah it's a little over the top, but because the dress is so tight at the waist I think it works. It's cool. This girl has style. (I also like her accessory)

I can't wait to hear what the guys think of this look

They are as attractive and magnetic in person as they are on the screen, which is quite rare for actors, as I understand it.

He's above-average in height. Couldn't really see his physique but he seemed pretty buff.

Edit: This was June 2005. Not that long ago after all. Seems like a different lifetime.

Here are a couple of photos taken with a truly crappy disposable camera:

Alright I got one: Victoria Beckham/Posh Spice

Granted, in the confines of high fashion and suitability for the runway, this is an atrocious choice.

However, in the confines of clothing that I really don't mind seeing Posh Spice in, this is way, way, way up the charts.

So which wins out?
