One of my favorite blues albums

Apparently they both happened to be in Paris at the same time, sat down with an acoustic guitar & harmonica, and whipped out 15 solid blues classics.

I don't know if it is available on netflix, but any Mance Lipscomb fans should try to watch A Well Spent Life, if only to smell the fried chicken.

3 versions of one of my favorite blues song Hard Time Killin' Floor Blues

the most haunting one by Skip James - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGRqSJY0hDo

by R.L. Burnside which sounds amazing mixing blues with electronic music? - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BC_5eSkQudw

and one by someone named Jo Ann Kelly, who i just discovered on youtube a day ago. she has really amazing voice, exactly how blues should be sung - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1gsQXvZzNNY

Merry Christmas.

A great harp player , and sometimes on the 60s Folk circuit, Rev. Dan Smith. Doesn't fit into the homogeneity of modern blues harp, but when he played it was difficult to sit still.

Live at the Checkerboard Lounge is one of my favorites of his. Buddy is a great bluesman, and a lot of fun to watch, hopefully I'll get around to going to one of his shows someday.
