youtube is amazing for finding obscure blues and jazz music
speaking of which, digging the recent posts.

i believe i posted in the jazz thread that Don Cherry can play anything with strings and any horn

the following is a documentary from Sweden in 78.

the entire thing is worth watching and highly recommended, but what i'm referencing and the reason for posting in the blues thread starts at 2:15 if you don't want to wait.

Cherry plays some sort of modified donso ngoni with a chain fringed tin hat
and after referencing T-Bone, BB, and John Lee...well, just listen
clicky-clacky...don't stop

Fever has been on my dessert island disk list since 1958. Also this;

Peggy Lee is the stone cold nuts. I've got her on the same throne as Ella.

it's not fair to have another artist follow immediately after the Wolf
sometimes the best thing to do is just pause for a bit, open up all the windows, and let the air flow back in to the room after he blew it all out
what a beast
