Weird. Lately Youtube only recommends stuff that's already in my history.

I know where to find those vids. Saves me some time I guess, don't spend much time on Youtube these days.

A few years ago it always recommended good stuff and I would be on Youtube for hours.

some have gotten there by learning the rules and then learning how to break them.
others got there by living the blues and playing what they experienced without learning much of anything else but life.

i've posted these a few times before in this thread, but i think it's a great example of what i'm trying to describe

in fact, almost every Alan Lomax video captures the 'living the blues' experience, because that's what he was after.

i'm too late to edit my post above, but the REAL blues can be seen by seeing and interpreting the expression of every person's face in that second Burnside video, especially the ones that aren't playing an instrument.
