This thread will be dedicated to simply posting notices of what is of particular interest on Netflix and other pay services (Amazon Prime, Hulu Plus, et al.) and films available on Youtube. It is not meant to replace the movies thread, so further discussion should still take place there. Instead, this thread should provide a handy reference.

Milius very interesting doc about the film-maker.
Everything or Nothing absolutely terrific doc about the Bond franshise. Gives you a real feel for how Bond lead the field in action through the 60s, then lagged somewhat (but still had terrific stunts)

Roseanne Season 1 just landed. Loved Roseanne (apart from when they won the lottery onwards)

All seasons of Peewee's Playhouse just landed, never seen it, but I heard it's good.

An Adventure in Space and Time - a biography of the start of Doctor Who, a definite must for Whovians.

Black Mirror really is something. I still haven't watched the Christmas special we had here in the UK tho.

the xmas special was fantastic.

as for american beauty, i remembered liking it alot when it first came out but i just re-watched it on netflix, and while alot of the performances were really good didn't think the movie held up very well.

pretty much every character is a giant cliche.
really underwhelming the 2nd time thru.

The Double - I'll admit I haven't watched the full thing, I was distracted and wanted to wait till it had my full attention. It's very Gilliam inspired from Richard Ayoade, star of The IT Crowd.

We Are The Best! - Put this on your list and check it out when you need a smile. It's about teenage girls who start a punk band (they suck) and they tackle issues that many boys and girls go through in their early teens. The girls are wonderful. The film is joy captured in a bottle.

Jodorowsky's Dune - This is a fantastic documentary about Jodorowsky's failed attempt to make Dune. It's thoroughly entertaining while being simultaneously melancholy and uplifting. It's crazy to see how many sci-fi films straight up stole from Jodorowsky as well.

The Double

Not just Gilliam, it's very clearly Brazilish. Especially in the beginning.

It was good. Didn't blow me away or anything, but more than solid.

Archer: hilariously filthy animated spy show, seasons 1-4 on Netflix

one of my favorite shows ever

oh yeah Archer is terrific.

it's always sunny in philadelphia is available and fantastic.

the gang buys a boat (season 6 episode 3) is one of the funniest 30mins of TV ever.

as for archer it's crazy to think there are ppl out there who haven't seen it.

truly a genius level show.
