Glad you enjoyed it, great place, I think I recommended it. Their IPAs are great. I'm really looking forward to trying more of their wild stuff as it comes out too... Anachronism was their first spontaneous beer and it was great. Their big stouts are also amazing... this place is just killing it all around.

On that note:
Anyone in Madison? I'm looking forward to checking out Funk Factory's new taproom when I can get up there (from Chicago). Maybe for a release or something.

As you can probably tell, I really like wild/spontaneous beer the most, so I've been putting together a few (US-based) weekends and plans.
I tend to fall back on Austin for Jester King because I love that place and love BBQ, but I'm looking for new ideas.
I did Avery/Black Project, (super highly recommend and ISO BP!) though I'd probably try to work in a longer drive over to check out Casey in the future.
I'd love to plan around a release, but it's such a pain in the ass to tell when anything comes out due to the nature of the beer.
3 current ideas:
A SARA / Rare Barrel / Russian River trip sounds like a fun weekend though lots of driving in a place I really don't want to drive.
De Garde and Cascade / other Portland goodies, sounds awesome of course.
Wicked Weed + Fonta Flora
I also want to get down to Side Project as I really enjoy everything I've tried from them... nothing against St Louis but it's otherwise pretty unappealing to me for vacation compared to some pretty amazing looking places listed above.
Anyone else do anything like this specifically for this sorta stuff or have any good related ideas?
