.I just finished watching the episode where the Cylon told Laura that Adama is a Cylon...tis a lie, but a good one...
Are you sure it's a lie?

And which Adama was he talking about? There are two of them, father and son.

Hobby, I don't know what is wrong with Dom and others who prefer Starbuck, but for me Number 6 is clearly much hotter. When I watched the miniseries I thought Starbuck was very unattractive and the two guys I saw it with were in agreement one even pointed out how surprised he saw at the level of unattractiveness on a leading female. After watching the series more I started realizing that Starbuck was attractive in a very different manner. I still think Number Six is way more attractive than Starbuck, but now I think Starbuck is kind of hot instead of very unattractive.

if you're talking about Cylons who have a prior history with humans, we all have those questions!

Dominic, did you get me hooked on a Lost-esque show?

Your punishments are cruel and unusual, sir.

as much as I love LOST, I find Battlestar G. to be a better, more complete show. Just because some answers haven't been given yet doesn't mean they won't be!

Serious question:

Does Baltar do anything more stupid than giving the Cylon the nuclear warhead during this show? Because if so, I'm just gonna shut my eyes and plug my ears whenever he's on...

Baltar is a tad annoying the first season....he does do stupid things, doesn't he?

Well, I just finished season 3. Wow, very bleak season, not much letup, but very well done.

And WTF with that ending!

Spoiler:
Baltar gets off the hook, 4 new cylons in the fleet (and I mean IN the fleet), and Starbuck comes back from the dead to say she's leading them to earth.

lol Messianicaments...

pretty damn great, isn't DB? What did you think of the 4 new cylons?

If you were Cylon, who would you want leading the anti-human army, 6 or Roy Batty?
Battlestar Galactica - Final Season Quote

well, Roy Batty and the other replicants are children compared to the Cylons. In fact, that's one of the main points of Blade Runner - emotion without the life experience to process that emotion leads to sociopathy.

the replicant's emotions have driven them insane...it's like if you gave a 4-year old the strength and intelligence of an adult....think of the havoc he'd create. That's Roy Batty - an emotional 4 year old with super human strength.

So I'd go with Six.

Plus, I'd bang the crap out of her before she went off to fight.

I the episode Downloaded.

Six has her own imaginary Baltar...how cute.
It proves the age-old theorem: one wackjob deserves another...

OK, I have changed my mind about Starbuck...anyone who has had the ovary stolen and used to conceive a half-human child deserves to be cut a little slack...

Do we ever see exactly why Tigh lost his eye?

EDIT: I am NOT liking the fat Lee Adama...not at all...my only eye candy has been cruelly taken away from me...

Galactica panel from comic-con. The complex methodology behind how the writers chose the Final Five. Steve Trucco. Tahmoh Peniket fires a gun like a girl. Pilots walking around in their own juices. Katie Sackhoff in a sexy secretary kind of outfit.

oh, and to address Hobby's latest:

Tigh loses his eye between the webisodes that buffered season's 2 and 3 and the season premier of 3 (which contains the badass-est special effects shot short of the in-cockpit cam from season 4).

And skinnyLee comes back. Don't worry. It takes a couple episodes where you see him training hard, which I kind of like because it's realistic (for television anyway). In fact my girlfriend and I still use Adama's line from one episode whenever one of us has questions about whether one of us has lost weight (Olmos-voce: "Keep jumpin' ").

thanks for the link, Nerd!

And Hobby...I don't think we see exactly how Tigh loses his eye, only that it was when he was a captive of the Cylons. I haven't watched all the webisodes, so, as Nerd says, it might be there.

Also, when you finish Season 3, if you'd like to view the movie "Razor," PM me and i'll send it to you! You have to rent or buy it, as it's not available for viewing online.

The webisodes showing the Cylon occupation and the sequence where Tigh loses his eye (it's not explicitly shown, we just see him in prison) are, um, available under circumstances that must not be mentioned on 2p2. However, they are available. *cough*

why not? they're shown for free on the Sci-Fi Channel web site, right? Why can't you say where to find free videos?
