Yeah, I think they made the one on the ship with darker hair just so we wouldn't mistake her for the in-head Six.

Wait - isn't Baltar's in head Six the one that is pregnant with Tigh's baby? I thought that they were one in the same...

EDIT TO CLARIFY: Baltar's in head Six was his mental projection/memory/guilty conscience archetype of the actual Six who is pregnant with Tigh's baby...

...no. Not sure where you came up with that one, but it was definitely on your own.

See, like I said, they really went too far with the Sixes. Like keeping the in head and real ones straight wasn't already confusing enough..

What the in head characters are has never been clarified. Baltar has a Six, and a Six has a Baltar. The latter seems to be evil in nature to me (from what little we've seen), while the other has always seemed to guide Baltar towards good one way or another.

Ryan - what movie??? I know they're doing a new series set on Caprica before the war, but I hadn't heard of any movie.

And does anyone want to put odds on Sam surviving his wound?

Original Starbuck == Human
New Starbuck == Earth Cylon -- ie. final 5 type of Cylon.

by the way in that great article above it is mentioned that the Six Baltar has sex with in "Blood on the Scales" is a new one to him and hot "Head Six."

Crazy shiat.

Fella at work we were talking and I told him that I bet "John" (as we now know him) probably knew all along who all 5 were because of his unwillingness to want it revealed. But to now know he was the first of the 7 heh.

Wow, this show just keeps going places I can't predict at all. So damn great. I actually love the idea of Ellen being the One now.

I got some ideas after this episode but I'll just sit on them - I like how it's STARTING to come together

So Ellen and the rest of the Final Five (who are actually the First Five but hey - I'm not a quibbler ) were all actually human at one point, members of the 13th Tribe? If Ellen designed Cavil (John) after her father, then that should be a good assumption, right? Or was the 13th Tribe always Cylon - cuz didn't Sam say something about how they didn't invent Resurrection and that people on Earth had just forgotten it but the Final Five brought it back and gave it to the colony Cylons?

Oh and Daniel HAS to be one of two people 1) Adama or 2) Baltar. It can be nobody else. OMG - please let it be Adama, please let it be Adama - it will prove once and for all that I am superior to Dominic.

But with my luck, it's going to be Baltar - it explains his "Head" Six.

Cavil is a nasty machine with a huge Oedipal complex, apparently.

Remember the 13 are based on the Gods. Ask yourself, who fits Zeus?

Did I not say the same thing earlier in this thread? /patting self on back/

Oh and cute Ryan Beal - if I am right about Adama, I would like a custom undertitle that reads "Dominic's Superior".

Spoiler:
I'm going to have to eat soooooo much crow if I'm wrong...please don't be wrong, please don't be wrong...

I'm a little confused about the whole story line now. So humans did create the earth cylons, what happened to them? Can someone re-explain to me the story line surrounding the creation of the original resurrection ship? I'm also not clear of the connection between cobalt and earth, the whole thousand year trip to get to cobalt and so on. Too many freaking questions! Luckicly I have the show saved and will be able to review it.

It doesn't talk about when "Daniel" was done in by Cavil as was alluded to.

It would explain how Starbuck came back though. Having no other bodies to use, the system was still "working" back on Earth so it used her body and her memories, with those of "Daniel" stashed in back and they just have to be activated.

note: I just read the complete link I posted above and it mentions the same thing.

Ellen did say that Daniel was a Poet, so doesn't that make Baltar more likely than Adama?

Ugh...now I'm more confused after reading that Chicago blog and the comments...and I don't think anybody else can really tell either whether Cylons and the 12 tribes (because there seems to be a general consensus that the Earth Cylons were the 13th tribe) started out on Kobol or started out on Earth, and essentially whether the 13th tribe was backtracking to Earth or back to Kobol. And now I'm not even sure what Kobol was...sigh. I need a chart.

Oh and I really liked the new mini-intro they did...

Yeah this episode made my head hurt. Too much introduced at once and too much I couldn't remember from previous episodes.

Just got done watching the episode on the TIVO and once again a stellar show. Lots of great information but still a swirling ****storm of stuff that needs to come together.

I had this feeling as well. Also the whole Cylon in his head thing.

I liked this as well.

I think the whole ship breaking up is going to become more important as we go on. That and the fix being a cylon technology(biologic) used to fix this issue. Why even bother to have that in the story if it wasn't going to somehow be important

I heartily endorse this undertitle for Hobby. In fact, I think it should be made immediately.

Wait just a minute - why do you endorse this? :suspicious Hobby:

I don't want it anymore - I changed my mind.

The 's is NOT a contraction...The Superior of Dominic...I'm so confused...
