Wow, Just Wow!!!

I just finished watching last nights episode as well as the episode from a week ago. This show is as good as it gets. There are so many things woven into the plot it makes my head spin.

I can hardly wait until the next episode.

Like HH, I personally think Adama is the 5th cylon, but...

....there's a good chance Roslyn may be.

The Ellen thing is just misleading so they can really give us a tremendous kick in the teeth. After all, Tigh is a cylon, who knows what memories can be implanted by the cylons...

I think as it stands, Adama being the 5th cylon is the biggest dramatic kick in the guts. However, Roslyn's rapidly approaching death, so her returning near or at the end, would also be a tremendous bit of drama.

And I think it may be her now, because of that brilliant (and now-obvious - to me anyway) story arc.

Turncoat.

Forgive my obtuseness, but what brilliant (but now oh-so-obvious) story arc are we talking about here? Hobby is perplexed.

That Roslyn is the 5th cylon. And her death will reveal this as the entire 4-season series climaxes.

Don't get me wrong, I'm hoping it's Adama - cos Ryan promised he'd give me a custom colour, so convinced is he I'm wrong when I said it was Adama.

Ryan? What's your thinking on it now? Still think it's Ellen?

WHAT? I said Adama too - why didn't I get to make a bet with cute Ryan Beal?

I would like my name to be in purple stripes and to have the undertitle "The Thread Hijacker" and/or "Diebitter's Antithesis".

I think you're both wrong and it IS Ellen. Don't forget Starbuck's apparent uniqueness and Baltar's role in this whole thing, either.

Oh, and I so want Gaeta to experience what Leoben does in my avatar.

Rosylin can't be the 5th cylon. If you think she is, how do you explain how she needed cylon blood to recover from cancer? Makes no sense.

Holy crap yet again!

I don't know why I'm continually surprised at the quality of this show, but wow, what an episode. The Gaeta/Zarek uprising ended the only way it could've,imo.

Ok - I don't know if I should be putting my Battlestar Galactica questions in a spoiler thing or not now...

Spoiler:
I'm confused about the Number 6 who was in bed with Baltar later in the episode...was she significant in some way? Was she the same number 6 that set of the bomb before? I keep thinking that she was significant but I couldn't figure her out...

Also, at the very end when Tyrell sees the giant crack in Galactica's (engine??), do you think that it will force them to go to Earth? They're still orbiting Earth, right?

I also did not think that whole scene of Adama's execution was very well-done at all. It boggled my mind how how someone could recruit their own firing squad to then help them take control of the ship. That makes no sense...esp. since earlier Gaeta had told that guy to get people who were completely loyal to their cause to help them shoot Adama. Ugh.

Previews for next week...the return of Ellen. Somehow, I've gotten it stuck in my head that since the identity of the Fifth Cylon was unknown for so long that the Fifth Cylon is somehow more powerful/different than the other Four. Does anyone else have this same idea...has the show intimated this or is it just my overactive imagination at play again?

Wicked episode once again. Kinda surprised that the rebellion succeeded only for half an episode.

Hobby - I'm sure who the Number 6 with Baltar was - It seemed to me she was a new one, somehow...she had darker hair than the others. Not sure what the signifies.

I agree that she seemed like a new one. No idea how that is significant.

Ya, this will somehow be significant but I have no idea where they will go with it
Another great episode!

So who is Gaeta? Baltar said he knew who he was. Am I the only one extremely confused by the exchange between Baltar and Gaeta?

Gaeta was saying he wish people really knew "the real Gaeta," that's all. Not a mutineer, but someone who did the best he could and what he thought was right.

Although, I have to admit his mutiny made little sense.

Did you guys have a double episode or something? I see to be at least one behind. The last one shown here finished with Adama and Tigh waiting for the door to be breached.

Damn, it was bad enough when I was 4 days behind.

Aside from how he handles it, I completely understand his motivation and think it was a pretty decent plan.

no, the episode you last saw was "The Oath." We got the next one this past Friday. You haven't gotten it yet, that's all. You said you have to wait 4 days....well, it hasn't been 4 days yet!

Gaeta's motivation for the mutiny only makes sense if you've seen the webisodes, so if you haven't seen them go do it now.

i've seen them...I just don't see how his guilt over what he did on New Caprica would lead him to mutiny. What's the connection?
