Found a bandmaid song I like - I love how the song kind of stops at about 2:25, changes gears, stops again at 2:40 and then kicks you right in the testicles.
Here's a shoutout to Ladybaby:
Call me closed-minded but I will not pay fifty bucks to see a band in concert whose lead singer is a 40-year-old crossdresser. I'll give them props for their music though - it's a heavy techno blend that's accessible to a large demographic.

I guess it's kind of silly to post this cover before posting the actual song, but this is Babymetal's first English-language song, and this guy frickin' NAILS it!!!!
My best pick of the videos I've found - probably a DVD rip of some sort I guess due to the very high quality - The sound mix on this is superior imo to the album tracks. Tho generally I prefer live recordings anyway for this sort of stuff. Video / stage performance is great too!
YouTube videos have a combined 200 million views
250,000 album sales (that feels low, relied on wikipedia for the info)
Played concerts in 16 countries across 3 continents
Opened for Lady Gaga, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Guns n Roses, Metallica and Korn
Shared the stage with Judas Priest
Sold out Wembley arena in London and at that show broke a record previously held by the Rolling Stones for most merchandise sold at a single show
Tomorrow night they are HEADLINING the Palladium in Los Angeles, and Vinnie Paul (ex-drummer of Pantera and often considered 1 of the top 10 drummers alive)'s band Hellyeah is opening for them!
That shocked me, I knew they were getting big but how in the world is Vinnie Paul opening for THEM? In LOS ANGELES!?!?!?!? It's a crazy world sometimes.
Just wondering if you'd had a chance to check out Band-Maid's "World Domination". I have not - been really busy.
Babymetal, in my opinion, shot themselves in the foot this year. They kicked off a North American tour, and with absolutely no forewarning whatsoever, only brought over 2 of the girls. No announcement, no nothing, just showing up in Kansas City and having 1,000 people posting all over the internet, "Where is Yui-Metal?" They finally released a "statement" after about a week stating that she was still in the band but not part of the tour.
Also, they are the HEADLINER on their NA tour, and they only play an 11-song set. The show was over in 60 minutes. What a frickin' rip-off.
I would love to know what was going on in their managers' heads to justify two so transparently boneheaded decisions.
The 60 minutes of show were still awesome, don't get me wrong, but a band that's been together for 7 years and has never played shows that short should be able to do better.
It's a shame that Yui is gone, but I didn't have much confidence in the direction they were taking anyway. I even heard a rumor that they've relegated Moa to exclusively a backup dancer. Hope that's not true.
Phat Mack I had never heard of Bansky until that reference and I'm having fun googling his stuff!
This band popped up on a random YouTube search and they're threatening to become my favorite Japanese female metal band. If you have no patience for inane prologues, start it at 1:16 but plug your ears!
