Masquerading as a man with a reason, my charade was the event of the season.

And, if I claim to be a wise man, bruh, it surely means that I don't know.

I can drive again tomorrow. My six month sentence is up.
10-16-2018 , 07:09 PM
you could drive whenever you had wanted. it wasnt an official suspension. so a few days or another is subjective.

however the world might be safer with you off the streets.

I was banned in Mass and RI for six months, but the registry was not informed. Tomorrow I'm legal. And I'm not a bad driver, but I am concerned.

get one of those smart cars that will stop before hitting something. then you are home free to pass out at the wheel.

wont help you though if headed toward the cliff.

Get a large truck with monster bumpers and guards and push all those wimp cars out of your way. That's how we do it out west. Glad you are once again a road warrior.

Roma - about the trials and tribulations of a maid for a Mexican family in the early 1970s. The first 20 minutes are a bit slow but it steadily becomes more absorbing even though there are few extraordinary events. The unusual developments that take place are stunningly directed and stick in the mind.

This film struck a chord with my parents (we're of sub-continentental origin) who grew up with servants who practically become part of the family. I don't feel quite as strongly about it because I didn't feel any great affection for any of the characters, but there's no doubt that this is a well-crafted movie.

Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping

Quote:
Childhood friends Conner (Andy Samberg), Owen (Jorma Taccone) and Lawrence (Akiva Schaffer) found fame and fortune after forming the hip-hop group the Style Boyz. Owen and Lawrence faded into the background when frontman Conner left the band to launch a successful solo career. Now, the egotistical singer decides to film a documentary about his life while he's still on top. When his second album flops, the camera is there to capture his world come crashing down.
I had heard that this was a good comedy that didn't get its due at the box office so I went in expecting to be surprised. Unfortunately I wasn't. If you've heard a Lonely Island song, you've heard all the white boy pop rap songs in the movie and the plot was completely predictable. Sometimes the jokes can carry a predictable movie but there were only a few that I genuinely laughed at. They mostly fell a bit flat or were weak. I'd give it an *shrug emoji*, not terrible but nothing I'd tell my friends about.

Sorry, the movie was too exciting for me to take notes. The best flick of 2018 -- I hope it can find an audience. Be sure to check it out.
